    Each question on the exam is worth up to 3 points and there are 5 questions on the exam. The
    entire exam is worth up to a maximum of 15 points.

    Exceeding the Standard: 14-15 points. Student answered questions 1-4 correctly and provided
    a detailed, personal response with cause and effect for question 5.

    Meeting the Standard: 12-13 points. Student answered questions 1-4 correctly and provided a
    response that was specific to their own experience and included cause and effect for most of the
    answer for question 5.

    Approaching the Standard: 8-11 points. Student answered most of questions 1-4 correctly and
    provided a cause and effect in their response for question 5 with little to no detail.

    Not Meeting the Standard: Less than 8 points. Student answered some of questions 1-4 and did
    not provide a response for question 5.
