The RM Shell 4 makes the integration of an RM into the

Experion simple: all VisuNet RMs provide a transparent,
straightforward, modern user interface that simplifies the initial
configuration. RM Shell 4 completely replaces the Windows
desktop and only shows the important system setup settings
that are relevant for the first-time configuration of an RM.
The VisuNet RM Shell 4 provides the highest security

standards by facilitating Microsoft Enhanced Write Filter
(EWF) mechanisms, a built-in firewall, restricted web
browser, and USB lockdown. These mechanisms prevent
data, malware, or viruses from infiltrating the system. With
the RM Shell 4, the latest remote protocols (e.g., Microsoft
RDP 8, etc.) are installed to allow easy and transparent
connection to conventional (PC-based) workstations or a
modern virtual machine hosted on a server.

VisuNet Edge Series
The VisuNet industrial box thin client is a thin client device that
is suitable for dirty control rooms or HMI workstations. The
industrial design withstands high temperatures, shocks, and
vibrations. It has a small footprint and is a stand-alone thin
client with the RM Shell 4 installed.
The VisuNet EDGE is a rugged, panel mount workstation with

a remote monitor and membrane keyboard. When hazardous
location protection is required, a Pepperl+Fuchs Bebco
EPS purge and pressurization system and intrinsically safe
touchscreen provide the ultimate protection.

The VisuNet IND operator workstations are globally

certified for Class I, Div. 2/ATEX Zone 2. They are designed
for continuous use and optimized for harsh industrial
environments with difficult conditions such as wide
temperature range, shock and vibration, or overall grimy, wet
conditions common in the oil and gas or chemical industries.
The VisuNet panel mount remote monitors communicate

with host PCs or servers installed in remote locations using
a standard Ethernet network. There is virtually no distance
limitation between the remote monitor and host PC. Dual-rated
Class I, Division 2/Zone 2 panels feature a broad temperature
range using industrial-grade LED backlit LCD monitors.

The VisuNet GMP workstations are designed for use in

regulated industries where traceability, quality, and validation
are daily processes. GMP, or Good Manufacturing Practice

safety.
The aseptic operator workstation is designed for use in

manufacturing execution systems (MES), batch/process
control, and building management in sterile pharmaceutical

VisuNet EX1 Series
The VisuNet XT is a rugged drill rig HMI that outperforms the

extremely adverse conditions on open sea and land drilling
rigs. It offers maximum durability and an extended operating
range, -40 C to 65 C, making it well suited for oil exploration
and extraction. The high-bright, LED-backlit LCD panel
provides high performance with an optically bonded, glovefriendly touchscreen and an Intel Core i7 processor.
The VisuNet Ex1 is ATEX and IECEx certified for operation in

Zone 1/21. The stainless steel enclosure surface is sanded to
a smooth (RA < 1.2 m) finish and all welds are ground smooth
and polished. An optional antimicrobial extended keyboard
with various pointing options is available, including a glovefriendly resistive touchscreen.
