    Our RTU comprises of following features:


    1. Monitor status of Circuit breakers, Isolators,
    Loss of Voltage and Bus Protection in the field.

    2. Database connectivity over standard protocol
    After collecting this data, it is transmitted to the
    SCADA/ADMS or vice versa using GSM/GRPS
    link. This is achieved using the GSM/GPRS
    network of the service provider.
    Hardware

    Our RTU includes a microprocessor based


    controller with various communication options
    like, GSM/GPRS Modbus, RF Radio and leased
    line. The RTU can be upgraded to have energy
    measurement modules where CT/PT can be
    connected
    to
    measure
    various
    energy
    parameters.
    Local
    displays
    for
    energy
    parameters have also been provided to validate
    energy readings against standard equipment..
    Generally our RTU comes standard with a PLCC
    modem/GSM GPRS modem unless specified
    otherwise. Using this modem, data from our
    RTU can be transmitted over power lines to any
    central SCADA/ADMS system.

    Software

    The RTU is programmed to transmit digital data


    for monitoring and control of breakers. Additional

    The RTU will transmit data for up to 16 digital


    points. It will log the time/date stamp each time
    the digital point toggles. Additional digital points
    can be configured upon request. It also
    maintains a time/date stamped sequence of
    events for each digital point at the ADMS level.
    The RTU transmits the following digital data:
    1. Main/Auxiliary Bus Loss of Voltage
    (LOV).
    2. Main/Auxiliary Bus Protection active
    (BP).
    3. Main/Auxiliary Bus Circuit Breaker and
    Isolator Status.
    4. Transfer Bus Circuit Breaker and
    Isolator Status.
    5. Circuit Breaker/Isolator status for all
    Incomers
    6. Trip Command for all Incomers

    This RTU is capable for monitoring Digital as


    well as Analog data with capabilities of additional
    I/O expansion on special request.
