I am pleased to announce that my research article has been published in IEEE Access. This research examines fluorescent-based optical antennas for applications in visible light communication. The circular and elliptical-shaped antenna structures presented in this study offer a larger detection area, enabling effective functioning in low-light conditions. The study demonstrates that a fluorescent optical antenna outperforms traditional aspheric lenses, particularly for wider incident angles, due to its larger active area and omnidirectional light-capturing properties.
