Do you know if you met your campus recruiting goals last fall? 42% of campus recruiters who took our State of Campus Recruiting survey were unsure if they did – a 24% increase over what we saw in 2022! One of the reasons why: recruiters were assigned or set goals late in the year, with some never finalizing goals. Additionally, 51% of employers said their hiring targets changed at least once throughout 2023. With each shift, it became more difficult to accurately track (and make) progress on goals and outcomes. The takeaway: Campus recruiters with accurate and accessible recruiting data can quickly and confidently make educated decisions and pivot tactics. Prioritize your recruiting data to set your team up for success and have the flexibility to adapt to shifting goals and priorities in 2024.
