It was a big honour to pick up an AIM WA Pinnacle Award for Marketing Excellence last night on behalf of St John of God Health Care. The award is great recognition for a massive team effort that went into our recruitment marketing campaign. Marketing, communications, workforce and frontline caregivers across the organisation all contributed to the impact and effectiveness of this campaign, which helped recruit more than 1,600 new caregivers. Coming out of the COVID pandemic, the organisation had severe staff shortages in many areas, and it was vital that we moved quickly to re-establish overseas recruitment. Our initial six-week recruitment drive in the UK and Ireland resulted in more than 200 contracts being offered. Our first national TV commercial played a key role in increasing competitiveness in recruitment across Australia. The focus on St John of God Health Care’s service ethos clearly resonated with potential recruits as we moved from staff shortages across much of the organisation to having pools of candidates in various key clinical areas. I am very pleased that this award includes a $20,000 donation to Vinnies WA to support people in need in our community - a vital organisation dedicated to social justice. There are far too many people to mention all that have contributed to this award but those who played a big part include: Leanne McCormick, Amy Hallett, Liz Spaull, Brianna Lock, Carly Smith, Bernadette Johnstone, Anne Zuvela, Amy Cooper, Caelie Jones, Sally-ann Parker, Dani Jacob (Meinema), Kim Morris, Nina-Marie Butler, Andrew Ford, Sam McArthur, Danielle Enwood. Special thanks to: Giles Tovey, Marty Shearwood and the team at Creative.adm for developing the creative platform and overseeing our campaign strategy, Renae Lunjevich, Paula Greten et al at Bang Digital Australia for making our sure our digital ads were extremely effective; Melissa Bowen and Sandra Di Girolamo at Thinkbox for producing an outstanding TVC; Howard Robinson and Krishan Turner-Dave at Astute for their excellent work in raising our profile in the UK and Irish media. Finally, congratulations to all the other finalists, winners and sponsors of AIM WA Pinnacle Awards. It was an honour to be amongst you. https://lnkd.in/g-fRaBgN
