🔍 Optimizing Mobile Game Retention In the competitive mobile gaming industry, especially for free-to-play games, optimizing player engagement and monetization is crucial. 🚀 Project Goal In a match-3 game, I tested moving a gate from level 30 to 40 to see its impact on player progression and overall engagement. 📊 A/B Testing I conducted an A/B test with 90,189 players to empirically determine the best gate placement. Both versions were presented to users randomly and in equal numbers. The focus was on whether players advanced more levels and played longer. Additionally, I analyzed retention rates.
