One week on from TRA 2024 and we are still trying to process everything that happened. We are grateful to the over 4000 delegates who joined us in Dublin to make TRA 2024 unforgettable. One of our highlights was the story of Conall Mac Aongusa, who lost his wallet on the no. 4 Dublin Bus en route to TRA. Driver Robert Dowling found it and personally called to inform him it was at the depot. Unable to retrieve it, as Conall was still at TRA, Robert went above and beyond, delivering it personally to TRA. Iarnród Éireann’s new National Train Control Centre (NTCC) will go live in Summer 2024. It will be the centre for the management and regulation of train movements on the network. Delegates will see a fully operational centre, visiting the Signalling Control Room, Operational Control Rooms, Network Management Centre (NMC), Emergency Strategic Command Centre and Training Simulator.
