It's an honor and privilege to serve Restorative Farms (RF), an incredible non-profit, located in the heart of South Dallas, Texas. RF is dedicated to transforming lives in a community facing significant challenges, including being designated the most impoverished in the state. Their core mission revolves around building a sustainable, economically strong, and well-managed urban farm serving as the foundation for a thriving community "agrisystem" within Dallas. This replicable model aims to address food deserts by providing residents with access to fresh, ethically sourced food. But RF goes beyond just food. They offer professional training and employment opportunities, empowering individuals, including those formerly incarcerated, to achieve financial stability and contribute to community development. The founders, Brad Boa, Tyrone Day, Doric Earle, and Owen Lynch, envision RF as a collaborative effort with the community to tackle three critical issues: - Providing healthy, affordable produce: Ensuring individuals living in food deserts have access to affordable, fresh, medical-grade food. - Boosting the local economy: Creating income opportunities for community members through farm production and sales. - Empowering the community: Equipping individuals with training, work experience, and leadership skills to break the cycle of poverty and resource depletion. RF is more than just a farm; it's a systems-based solution. They're committed to building a self-sustaining, climate-conscious, and profitable network of farms and people, all working towards a shared mission of community upliftment. Learn more about their inspiring work in this documentary: https://lnkd.in/gCvk3Sc2 #RestorativeFarms #CommunityEmpowerment #SustainableAgriculture #FoodJustice If RF’s mission resonates with you, I encourage you to share this post and support RF's impactful work! At many organizations, including Save A Family Plan, the fiscal new year is April first. This is a great time to check with your employer to see if they offer a donation matching program. If they do, it could mean DOUBLING the impact of your charitable giving! Here is a great video submitted by longtime donors, Brad and Misty, sharing how they did it. If you're willing to share this info with friends and family, please share this post or send them the direct link (https://lnkd.in/dHzqVeQu) Here's a tip: if your company does not currently offer a gift-matching program... maybe they will if you propose one :) #DoubleYourDonation #giftmatchingprogram #peoplehelpingpeople #sustainabledevelopment #saveafamilyplan

🙏❤️🌈 A Heartfelt Request from Soulhaven Foundation 🌈❤️🙏 Amazing Community & Supporters, In our continuous journey to spread holistic well-being and sustainable living, we’ve encountered a unique challenge that brings us to seek your collective wisdom and networks. As many of you know, Soulhaven Foundation is the beacon of our mission to nurture holistic lifestyles for the betterment of our community and the planet. Our dream is to extend our reach and impact through a digital sanctuary that reflects our mission and values. This is where we would like your help. We wish to secure the domain Soulhaven.org to establish a dedicated online home for our non-profit endeavors. Unfortunately, our attempts to acquire this domain through conventional means have not been successful. Despite our best efforts through GoDaddy’s brokering service, we’ve been unable to establish contact with the current holder, who is associated with Sonic ISP from an earlier period of domain hosting. This domain holds immense potential for union with our existing site, Soulhaven.com. It represents a significant step forward in uniting our holistic lifestyles business with our non-profit mission under the Soulhaven banner. We believe in the power of community and the incredible network of professionals on LinkedIn. If anyone has insights, connections, or advice on how we might reach out to the owner of Soulhaven.org or if there are alternative strategies we should consider, your guidance would be invaluable. Moreover, should the current holder see this message, we are open to discussing options that could benefit both parties, including a tax-deductible donation of the domain to Soulhaven Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Together, we can make Soulhaven.org a reality, creating a space that fosters healing, growth, and holistic living for all. Thank you for any help, advice, or share you can offer to help us in this mission. Our hearts and hopes are aligned toward making a positive change, and with your help, we can make a significant stride toward that dream. May our journeys be blessed with peace, love, and rainbow light! 🙏❤️🌈🙌 Ms. Elizabeth Munoz Founder, Soulhaven Foundation 🌈 Join us in creating a haven for souls to flourish. 🌈 #SoulhavenFoundation #Healing #Unity #DomainJourney #Support #Nonprofit Sonic
