I saw this on Twitter post and I agree 100%. (Looks left and right) 🤫 I’m onto something. 😄 ————————————————————————— 🇺🇸 DEAR FUTURE PRESIDENT🔑 Revolutionizing Innovation: A Bold Plan to Invest in Startups and Build the Cities of Tomorrow 1/3 🧵 **Introduction** Imagine a future where the United States ignites a new era of innovation and prosperity by reinvesting the profits from successful startups into more startups, expanding successful ventures, and supporting impactful businesses and non-profits. This vision can become a reality through a strategic initiative focused on fostering innovation and improving the quality of life for all residents. Here's how we can turn this visionary plan into a transformative force for the nation. --- **The Blueprint for Innovation Investment** **1. Pre-Seed Stage: Fueling Early Ideas** - **Investment Amount**: $250,000 per startup - **Number of Startups**: 2,000 - **Total Investment**: $500 million By providing $250,000 to 2,000 startups at the pre-seed stage, we ignite the spark of innovation, giving entrepreneurs the necessary resources to develop groundbreaking ideas. **2. Seed Stage: Scaling Promising Ventures** - **Investment Amount**: $2 million per startup - **Number of Startups**: 2,000 - **Total Investment**: $4 billion When startups achieve $50,000 in monthly recurring revenue (MRR), they receive $2 million in seed funding to scale their operations and refine their products. This stage ensures that promising ventures have the financial backing to grow. **3. Series A Stage: Accelerating Growth** - **Investment Amount**: $8 million per startup - **Number of Startups**: 2,000 - **Total Investment**: $16 billion Upon reaching $200,000 in MRR, startups receive $8 million to propel their growth and expand their market reach. This substantial investment supports the development of companies poised to become industry leaders. --- **Reinvesting Profits: Creating a Cycle of Innovation** The plan doesn't stop at initial investments. By reinvesting the $11 billion in annual profits from successful startups, we can exponentially grow our innovation ecosystem. Here's how: **Expanding Startup Investments:** - **$5 billion annually**: Funding for 20,000 startups at $250,000 each for pre-seed - **$2 billion annually**: Additional funding for 1,000 startups at $2 million each for seed - **$1 billion annually**: Further support for 125 startups at $8 million each for Series A **Supporting Successful and Impactful Ventures:** Go to tinormous on Twitter for the full picture.

UAE Tech Startup Fund Shortlists Bengaluru for Future Investments 💼🌟 Global Millennial Capital (GMCL), a UAE-based firm investing in global tech startups, is currently analyzing the Bengaluru market for investments through its Fund I and upcoming Fund II. “We believe we have a significant investment opportunity in Bengaluru for the next 10 to 12 years, which is our typical investment cycle,” said Andreea Danila, founder and general partner of GMCL. 📈 Successful Fund Closure In February this year, GMCL announced the close of its first fund at $20 million. Led by the Qatar-based Al Attiyah family office and supported by various Gulf-based and international investors, the fund has already invested in 15 startups. It plans to continue investing in IP-focused technology businesses over the next three years, aiming for divestment opportunities by 2026-27. Simultaneously, GMCL plans to launch Fund II in the next 18 months. 🎯 Focus on Innovation Hubs Established in 2021, GMCL focuses on technology businesses with access to leading academic institutions, incubators, accelerators, and corporate venture capital firms. The firm employs a research-driven model to enhance its deal-origination capability and automate the initial assessment of startup features. Bengaluru, with its strong track record of around 45 unicorns, is a key market for GMCL. The firm has had significant success and exposure in Silicon Valley, co-investing with prominent names like Khosla Ventures. Now, GMCL is expanding its focus to other global innovation hubs, including Bengaluru, Singapore, and Shanghai. 🧠 Investing in Advanced Technologies GMCL targets areas such as artificial intelligence, deep tech, blockchain technology, digital ledgers, decentralized finance, and cloud computing. Initially focused on North America, the firm now seeks to invest in Indian entrepreneurs, recognizing India's vast market potential, consumer growth, and skill set. 📊 Early and Long-Term Investments The firm invests from pre-seed to IPO stages, focusing on early-stage emerging technology hubs. GMCL also holds longer-term positions in its partnerships, supporting founders early in their journey and participating in later funding rounds as co-investors. 🇮🇳 Commitment to India GMCL views technology and intellectual property companies as the next generation of large public listed companies, with Bengaluru playing a crucial role. “For India, we are still early stage, but we are very committed to this geography,” Danila said. The firm is learning more about the market and building relationships with key stakeholders, encouraged by the supportive government ecosystem and impressive venture capital metrics. 🔗 Learn More About GMCL's Investment Strategy https://shorturl.at/ydrpf #TechInvestments #GlobalMillennialCapital #Bengaluru #InnovationHubs #VentureCapital #Startups
