Last week, Bitcoin approached the $100K mark but experienced a significant pullback to $91.5K. Beimnet discusses this healthy market correction, driven by overly stretched market positioning and the digestion of recent positive news, including ETF launches and Trump administration policies. He also explores how these fluctuations align with broader economic indicators and future expectations. ⭐ Celebrating Progress and Purpose ⭐ At Galaxy, we believe in creating spaces for connection, learning, and leadership. Last month, our Women at Galaxy Employee Resource Group hosted the third annual Women in Crypto event at our New York HQ. For the first time, we welcomed external clients and counterparties to join the conversation, making it a truly collaborative platform. From panelists like Christine Kim, Grace Chao, and Jessica Jonas, attendees heard inspiring insights on mentorship, representation, and the evolving role of women in crypto. These conversations underscore the importance of representation and the value of diverse perspectives in shaping digital assets responsibly. On today's episode of the Infinite Jungle, I chat with Prysm developers "Potuz" and Terence Tsao about enshrined proposer builder separation, also called execution payload block separation (ePBS). ePBS is a fast developing series of code changes that will remove the need for validators to rely on trusted relays to earn additional MEV block rewards. ePBS also has other benefits including improved node bandwidth and CPU usage. Terence and Potuz are working to build consensus in the Ethereum community for including ePBS in the next network-wide upgrade after Pectra, which is called Fusaka. To learn more about ePBS, its benefits, risks, and readiness for implementation, listen to the full Infinite Jungle episode linked below. Also, as a PSA for my podcast listeners, please note the show will be going on another one week hiatus in observance of the American Thanksgiving holiday. I'll be back with new episodes starting the second week of December, Tuesday December 10th! Happy Thanksgiving to all who observe! The Infinite Jungle show is back! On today's episode, I share my main takeaways from the bi-annual Ethereum developer conference, Devcon. Despite the high number of technical innovations and announcements presented at Devcon 7, none were able to offer the community clarity about Ethereum’s long-term value and narrative. More than the technical announcements, the ideas presented at Devcon about how to build Ethereum and build on Ethereum in a way that promotes values of decentralization and credible neutrality inspired the minds and hearts of Devcon attendees. More than any innovation, forthcoming upgrade, or development team in the Ethereum ecosystem, the most compelling North Star presented at the conference was a shared desire among attendees to build permissionless, transparent, and trust-minimized systems for the betterment of humanity. Listen to my full take on Devcon, the beam chain, native rollups and more on today's episode of the Infinite Jungle podcast: Apple: https://lnkd.in/gdGrPSBW Spotify: https://lnkd.in/giiUYZvK YouTube: https://lnkd.in/g7axxv9Z You can also read my takeaways from Devcon 2024 on galaxy.com: https://lnkd.in/gCYVY9jM
