It’s no secret that progress in racial inclusion - particularly in Black #talent development - has long lagged behind advancements in other areas on the diversity, equity and inclusion (#DEI) agenda. While many organisations were quick to make public commitments to drive change from the top, action has often not translated to much-needed change. As #BlackHistoryMonth celebrates the legacies of trailblazers who’ve shaped our collective history, it also provides a much-needed opportunity for organisations and #leaders to reflect on their own roles in driving Black #inclusion, and renewing commitments to change that are backed by action. To truly make progress, organisations must start investing in the talent development of Black employees as a priority. In our latest blog, we’ve explored why a laser focus on Black professionals isn’t just an organisation’s moral duty, but is also a business imperative in today’s working world.
