An MBA education equips graduates not only with business acumen but also with the tools to cultivate a growth mindset. Through challenging coursework, diverse group projects, and real-world case studies, MBAs develop: * Critical Thinking Skills: The ability to analyze problems from different perspectives and find innovative solutions. * Adaptability: The agility to adjust to changing market conditions and embrace new technologies. * Resilience: The strength to bounce back from setbacks and learn from mistakes. Why is imagination an irony and a need for MBA graduates ? My MBA school Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode has arguably the most beautiful campus among all management schools, globally. Nestled among its lush green pathways are thought provoking boards that inspire reflection. One in particular has always intrigued me. “Imagination is more important than knowledge” - Albert Einstein The irony ? 🤷♂️ the weightage of ‘#imagination’ in MBA curricula is virtually NIL. Instead, they are laser focused on knowledge and information. 👉 how much knowledge you posses 👉 how fast can you acquire it 👉 how detailed can you analyse it 👉 how well you can present it. (Last point translates to a formula1 #F1 of powerpoint slides) With the trained skills from the campus- one can become a top manager - advise a top tier board- can win a startup pitch ! But, It may take a long time to become an #entrepreneur from a #MBA Graduate. The only variable missing was imagination. As an entrepreneur, I started to fit imagination into this mix. It’s my no.1️⃣! In today's dynamic markets—from #commodities to #sustainability—those who dare to imagine lead the charge. Its high time we infuse more imagination into MBA programs? 🤝 #LeadershipInsights #InnovationMindset #SustainableBusiness #CommoditiesInnovation

🎓 Micro MBA Experience: A Deep Dive in a Short Span! Recently, I embarked on a Micro MBA journey by Sir John Cousins and it’s been nothing short of transformative. I recently caught up with a former coachee from IIM-A, who wasn't satisfied with the progress he had made since he graduated. "I haven't done all that I had planned back in IIM, I feel like I am straying from success." His words got me thinking. Success isn’t a fixed destination; it evolves. And here’s how it has evolved for me so far 👉 𝗠𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 20𝘀: ✔ Building expertise in my career ✔ Developing my personal identity ✔ Enjoying financial and personal independence. 𝗠𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 30𝘀: ✔ Achieving financial security ✔ Advancing in leadership roles and furthering my education ✔ Relishing a comfortable lifestyle, which for me includes travel 𝗠𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄: ✔ Focussing on health and fitness ✔ Continued leadership growth leading to entrepreneurship ✔ Pursuing personal fulfilment, which I achieve through coaching Success isn’t static. It evolves with our goals and our environment. And redefining it is a necessary part of our growth journey. Success also isn’t about meeting past expectations. It’s about exploring the journey and pivoting and evolving with it. The key to success is not to give in to peer pressure to be someone you’re not. When we are true to ourselves, we are already leading a successful life! So, what’s your definition of a successful life right now? #success #growth #founder #entrepreneurship #selfdiscovery

Why I pursue MBA program “Why do you need to pursue MBA? It is a waste of time, especially when you don’t have the dream of being an entrepreneur.” That is the comment that I often receive from others when they know me applying for an MBA program. Actually, I had continuously questioned myself the similarly since my tertiary education and before my enrollment: whether an MBA is worth it, compared to the invested money and time. Being raised in an academic environment, a master's degree is not something that I can boast about, and I did not consider it to just show off purpose. After having my bachelor's degree, I went to work directly and have more than fourteen years of working experience until now. Keeping in mind that investing in personal growth is never wrong, I often spend time on various mini-courses for both professionals and soft-skill development. Gradually, I recognized that an MBA could contribute hugely to not only my professional growth but also my personal improvement, far more than these short-term courses. The Master of Business Administration program is widely considered the program for business managers and leaders. However, few people think that each person is managing himself or herself as a business in daily life. For example, when we become employees of an organization, we are providing the working service to such entity for the wage. Or when we participate in a friend relationship, we are supplying the “listening and hanging out” service to your friends in exchange for emotional and feeling benefits. From my experience, I find it beneficial when attending various subjects in the MBA course and being furnished with multiple tools and techniques. I often see myself utilizing the BCG Matrix, Decision Table, or Organization Theories to evaluate and make decisions. They enforce my judgment and furnish me with the confidence to move on. Finally, I have never had the dream of being an entrepreneur, but a dream of continuously upgrading myself. Being a more proficient version day by day is my passion and this also helps me to broaden my selection. I firmly believe that opportunities are when the capability matches the requirement.

As I progress through my MBA journey at IIM Trichy, I am incredibly grateful for the Entrepreneurial Manager course, skillfully taught by Professor Randhir Mishra . This course has been a profound learning experience, equipping me with both theoretical insights and practical tools for entrepreneurial success. Key takeaways that have deeply impacted my perspective include: ✅ The real-world application of the Business Model Canvas, a powerful tool to design, visualize, and refine business strategies. ✅ Understanding Unit Economics, a cornerstone for assessing the financial health and scalability of a business. ✅ Leveraging the Value Proposition Canvas to ensure that products and services align with customer needs and deliver maximum value. ✅ The fascinating approach of Effectuation Thinking, which shifts the focus from predictive strategies to leveraging available resources and partnerships to create new opportunities. Through engaging discussions, hands-on frameworks, and real-world case studies, this course has not only enhanced my analytical and strategic thinking but also empowered me with a mindset to embrace uncertainty and turn challenges into opportunities. A heartfelt thank you to Professor Randhir Mishra for your unparalleled mentorship and for making every session insightful and inspiring. Also, a big thank you to my peers for fostering an environment of collaboration and rich learning. Looking forward to applying these concepts and frameworks to drive impactful innovations and solutions in the business world. #Gratitude #Entrepreneurship #EffectuationThinking #BusinessModelCanvas #ValueProposition #UnitEconomics #LearningJourney #MBA #IIMTrichy
