As I progress through my MBA journey at IIM Trichy, I am incredibly grateful for the Entrepreneurial Manager course, skillfully taught by Professor Randhir Mishra . This course has been a profound learning experience, equipping me with both theoretical insights and practical tools for entrepreneurial success. Key takeaways that have deeply impacted my perspective include: ✅ The real-world application of the Business Model Canvas, a powerful tool to design, visualize, and refine business strategies. ✅ Understanding Unit Economics, a cornerstone for assessing the financial health and scalability of a business. ✅ Leveraging the Value Proposition Canvas to ensure that products and services align with customer needs and deliver maximum value. ✅ The fascinating approach of Effectuation Thinking, which shifts the focus from predictive strategies to leveraging available resources and partnerships to create new opportunities. Through engaging discussions, hands-on frameworks, and real-world case studies, this course has not only enhanced my analytical and strategic thinking but also empowered me with a mindset to embrace uncertainty and turn challenges into opportunities. A heartfelt thank you to Professor Randhir Mishra for your unparalleled mentorship and for making every session insightful and inspiring. Also, a big thank you to my peers for fostering an environment of collaboration and rich learning. Looking forward to applying these concepts and frameworks to drive impactful innovations and solutions in the business world. #Gratitude #Entrepreneurship #EffectuationThinking #BusinessModelCanvas #ValueProposition #UnitEconomics #LearningJourney #MBA #IIMTrichy

🎓 When I joined the business administration program at IIM Ahmedabad, I was told it would be a new learning experience. I initially thought:"What will change? 📚 We'll be given a curriculum, we'll memorize it, Professors will teach from old slides and books And then we'll just regurgitate it all in exams." But NO, learning here is actually different. After spending almost five months at IIM Ahmedabad, I can confidently say that nobody teaches from slides. Instead, we dive into real business case studies, analyzing and discussing them in depth. This approach has profoundly changed my perspective on business and its related challenges. 🌟 🔍 Now, I don't see McDonald's as just a burger company; it's a real estate giant where I start calculating profits, footfall, and their impeccable standardization. 🍔🏢 ☕ Starbucks? Not just a coffee company, but a brand selling an experience. 🌟 👗 Zara and H&M own their stores to maximize profits with constantly changing and unique inventories, giving them an edge over others. while solving case for havmor on how business can be replicated ,you actually get havmor ice creams to eat. 💡 Remember, every system has a bottleneck: "An hour saved at a bottleneck is an hour saved for the entire system. An hour saved at non-bottlenecks is just a mirage." So next time you start a business, think about what additional value you're offering – it could be the experience, the product, or both or what are the plans and strategies you make to scale your business. Embrace the learning, break the norms, and always think beyond the obvious! 🚀 #IIMA #BusinessAdministration #RealLearning #CaseStudies #NewPerspectives #ContinuousGrowth #ThinkBeyond #BusinessInsights #BottleneckTheory #Innovation #entrepreneurship #Creativity

Is an MBA degree from arguably the country’s top B-School absolutely necessary for a 27 year old founder? As a current business owner who has spent 2+ years learning the trade by sleeping on factory floors overnight and seeking raw customer feedback selling products from the back of a car, do I need to go to school again to study business? Was forfeiting an admit from IIM-A to come to ‘The place to B’ the right thing to do? Funnily enough, the beauty of management education lies in its synergy with uncertainty. You will never get answers to your questions until you experience the journey yourself. Keeping this in mind, I am super excited announce that I'll be embarking on a new chapter in my journey of constant learning by pursuing IIM Bangalore EPGP (One Year Full-Time MBA Programme) at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. For the next 1 year, I would strive to map out the effect of a formal business education on an entrepreneur’s life and venture on a real time basis and share it with the community. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me in this decision. Feel free to reach out to me (via DM) in case of any queries in the field of MBAs and GMAT! Here's to new beginnings and exciting challenges ahead! 🚀 #MBAJourney #NewBeginnings #LovetoAllMoretoLife #MakeyourMove #entrepreneurship #startups #business #MBA

The college you attend says a lot about how you spent your early years—assuming you had the right opportunities and guidance. It’s a foundation that many build on. But it’s disappointing when institutions start chasing quick profits. We all remember Apple’s trial with cheap phones and it’s impact on Brand value. If the goal is to truly help more people, offer free courses. Don’t sell part-time programs from online platforms just to profit off your brand while handing out degrees like candy without college faculty or any involvement. People naturally want to belong and avoid judgment, so they choose the easiest path—who can blame them? The real problem is the obsession with college brands. We’ve all seen the “placement circus” that surrounds these names. Sure, a prestigious brand might open doors, but it’s the long road you walk afterward that determines real success.
Nowadays, everyone’s got "Harvard," "Stanford," or "IIM A/B/C" on their profile, even if it was just a 2-week or 2 months online course I did see someone who actually did full time MBA writing IIM Ahmedabad full-time MBA 🥲 Soon well see 😂 IIM Banglore - 2 years MBA (not the 4-week crash course!) Harvard MBA – yes, the actual 2-year one, not the webinar I dozed off in! Stanford Grad – not the 'watched a TED Talk' version! Satark rahe, savdhaan rahe, online course ko full time college na kahe PS. There are amazing folks who don't come from these colleges and rocking in their careers, but lately I've seen this trend is quite spread Relate to it? Do Repost/share Follow Aditya Turalapati for more on MBA and Product Management in future #IIM #Havard #Stanford

Why is imagination an irony and a need for MBA graduates ? My MBA school Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode has arguably the most beautiful campus among all management schools, globally. Nestled among its lush green pathways are thought provoking boards that inspire reflection. One in particular has always intrigued me. “Imagination is more important than knowledge” - Albert Einstein The irony ? 🤷♂️ the weightage of ‘#imagination’ in MBA curricula is virtually NIL. Instead, they are laser focused on knowledge and information. 👉 how much knowledge you posses 👉 how fast can you acquire it 👉 how detailed can you analyse it 👉 how well you can present it. (Last point translates to a formula1 #F1 of powerpoint slides) With the trained skills from the campus- one can become a top manager - advise a top tier board- can win a startup pitch ! But, It may take a long time to become an #entrepreneur from a #MBA Graduate. The only variable missing was imagination. As an entrepreneur, I started to fit imagination into this mix. It’s my no.1️⃣! In today's dynamic markets—from #commodities to #sustainability—those who dare to imagine lead the charge. Its high time we infuse more imagination into MBA programs? 🤝 #LeadershipInsights #InnovationMindset #SustainableBusiness #CommoditiesInnovation
