I'm excited about what Gentrace is doing (see below)... as they point out, given the intrinsic non-determinism of LLMs, we can't just use vibes to assess fitness in production. What Gentrace is doing+building seems not just _desirable_ but downright _necessary_ as we put more weight and leverage on LLMs as the backbone of new and existing categories of software.

This weekend just past, I competed in and completed my first hackathon - Build Together: AI Hackathon. It was a priveldge to be involved and to see the projects the other participants were working on. We decided to use LangChain for our build due to familiarity and the control it provides for multi-agent frameworks. Given the less than 24 hours build time I ended up (thanks vline), we decided to forgo using LangGraph and simply hard coded the connections between agents. The agents themselves all followed a similar design with Role, Task and Notes sections broken up using markdown. For quick prototyping/design iteration using a Notes section is invaluable to quickly train the agents away from 'bad' behaviour. Big thanks to our fourth team mate Florian Johannes Leonhardt assisting with prompt design. It's been a few weeks since I took this pic, but just wanted to shout out to Chad Schneider, P.E. for planning a little mid-week happy hour sailing around Middle River and the Bay. It was actually my first time sailing, which feels crazy living as close to the water as we are, but I definitely thought about tying myself to the mast for a "What about Bob?" throwback pic. We had great company with Terrance M. and all of our better halves. Maybe we could have asked for a little more wind, but not a better night getting together to continue to extend business relationships into friendships. Another successful and interesting Spring of Code, our Axini innovation week/hackathon. We have so-called Season of Code weeks at Axini and since it’s spring, this was our Spring of Code. This time in our offices in Amsterdam, next time will probably be off-site together again. In these weeks we improve things at Axini that are harder to tackle during our normal iterations. In general, the improvements are oriented towards our platform or our way of working. Examples are technical debt reduction, innovation, getting prototypes a step further or looking into client specific requests. This Spring of Code was more customer oriented, where we worked on: - Generating BDD test cases from models, so bridging the gap between Model Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development.  - Improving the user experience of the Axini Platform: declutter the user interface, make workflows more intuitive and give more visual cues, etc.  - Visual modeling, where we enhanced our prototype to edit models both as text and in graph form at the same time.
