Senior Policy Officer at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs

💥 Transfer news 💥 After three years, my time at Save the Children Netherlands has come to an end. It’s been a great ride, with lots of wonderful colleagues. I started my time there translating the coalition agreement in children’s language. We speak a lot about the right to participate, but in order to participate fully, children need to be able to understand what is being said. I did many different things over the course of the years (working on youth empowerment, participation and poverty) and ended my time at Save by coming full circle and translating the current coalition agreement in children’s language as well. This week, I started a new chapter – which in turn means coming full circle yet again – by (re)joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I will be part of the team focusing on International Responsible Business Conduct. I look forward to diving into this very interesting and important topic.
