On October 19, 2024, the IntegraS Ukrainian-Swiss Platform forum was held in Bern, which Svitlana Schweizer moderated the discussion on integration issues and the future of Ukrainians with S protection status. The event became a platform for representatives of public organizations, government bodies from Switzerland and Ukraine, as well as members of the Ukrainian community to share their views and discuss possible solutions. Let us introduce you to the analytical report on the results of the Forum, which was prepared by Ms. Svitlano: "1. The progress of the discussion - Key topics: The discussion focused on problems and opportunities of integration of Ukrainian refugees in the labor market and raising the level of employment to 40%. Another important topic was access to education and social support. - Views: Different opinions were expressed regarding the effectiveness of current integration measures and the need for new initiatives. In particular, I emphasized the importance of recognition of qualifications and the importance of language courses. - Highlights: The discussion about the role of employers in the employment of Ukrainian refugees was particularly interesting. 2. Content analysis - Results: A broad consensus was reached that the continuation of language courses and the acceleration of procedures for the recognition of foreign qualifications are crucial to promote integration. - Challenges: Bureaucratic obstacles and reservations about foreign languages were identified as the main problems hindering the integration process. - Solutions: Proposed solutions included the introduction of mentoring programs, networking events, and increased cooperation between the government and civil society organizations. Summary: During the discussion, the main problems and opportunities for the integration of Ukrainian refugees in Switzerland were highlighted. The discussion showed that it is important to take comprehensive integration measures, taking into account both language courses and the recognition of qualifications. Personal analytical opinion: I emphasized the importance of different visions and interests of all participants. The frankness and courage to discuss difficult topics enriched the discussion and gave valuable ideas. Prospects: Future discussions should focus on the practical implementation of the proposed solutions and the further promotion of an open dialogue between all parties involved. ✅ Platform website: https://integras.group ✅Website of the organizing team: https://vidnova.ch ✈️Telegram platform channel: https://t.me/IntegraSgroup ✈️Platform chat: https://t.me/integrasChat ✈️Channel "Ukrainians in Switzerland" https://lnkd.in/eQrzQDqv

I sincerely thank my friend and partner, Oleh Yurkin, for his invaluable support and professionalism in conducting the workshop "Creating a fundamental basis for job search in the context of creating and developing your Vitamin B project." The Swiss algorithm of actions". Thanks to your many years of experience, deep knowledge and practical approach, the workshop became a key stage for many participants in building their careers and developing their own projects. Oleg, with your 29 years of social and professional experience in Switzerland and expertise in integration issues, you shared not only specific algorithms and strategies, but also a deep understanding of the Swiss labor market. Thanks to your workshop, the participants got a clear vision of how to effectively search for a job, how to use their own skills and resources, and how to correctly apply the Swiss algorithm of actions in real conditions. I would like to note separately that your support goes far beyond the scope of simple counseling - you motivate, inspire and help each participant to discover new opportunities and perspectives. We are all very grateful for your mentorship and willingness to share your knowledge and experience. Only collective power ignites real change. This spirit of collaboration and shared purpose filled the IntegraS Ukrainian-Swiss Platform in Bern last week, leaving us inspired and motivated to take action. Ukraine reborn, represented by Nadiia O., was proud to support this important platform as a sponsor of the event. We were grateful for the opportunity to contribute to discussions on integration and employment while also sharing our own initiatives, such as the USpring Mentorship, which empowers Ukrainians to build meaningful and prosperous lives in Switzerland. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We are grateful to work alongside our partners and colleagues, including VIDNOVA Ukrainian-Swiss Foundation, Power Hub Zug and BEVEL ON Association who tirelessly support Ukrainians on their path to adaptation and integration. Key insights from the forum were contributed by Samuel Wyss, State Secretariat for Migration SEM, Switzerland, and Adrian Gerber, Federal Department of Justice and Police FDJP: Strong employment support: The Swiss government aims to employ 40% of Ukrainian refugees, providing significant support through migration and social services. Planning horizon: Protection status S is extended until March 2026, with an additional 12-month departure period for those employed if protection is withdrawn, offering predictability to both employers and employees. Persistence pays off: Finding a job may take time and effort, but don’t give up! A huge thank you to the organizers, Olesia Tarasenko, and everyone involved in making the IntegraS Forum a success. Let’s continue working together to build a brighter future for Ukrainians in Switzerland. #UkraineReborn #IntegraS #Integration #Employment #Mentorship #Collaboration
