Our mission is to support Ukrainian war migrants in Switzerland on their path to employment and financial independence from social welfare. Through employment-focused events and mentoring by local experts, we help Ukrainians gain valuable work experience in Europe and use this knowledge and experience to rebuild Ukraine.

    🎉 Get Together 3.0 🎉 On November 30, we gathered for Get Together 3.0, marking another milestone in our journey of supporting Ukrainians in Switzerland. The event brought together mentees, mentors, and guests for a productive and inspiring evening filled with achievements, insights, and plans for the future. 🌟 Highlights from the 5th Wave: ✔️ 44 mentoring pairs successfully completed the program. ✔️ 287 mentoring sessions were conducted, showcasing the dedication and collaboration within our community. ✔️ 61% of participants secured job interviews. ✔️ Confidence in job searching increased from 12% at the start to an incredible 83% by the end. 💡 The event featured: - Success stories from two of our mentees, sharing their inspiring journeys. - Next steps for participants and program updates. - An engaging presentation by Markus Truttmann, Team Professional Integration at Social Services Asylum, Zug Cantonal Social Welfare Office, on integration and professional opportunities in Zug. - Networking, where connections were made, stories were exchanged, and ideas flourished. We are immensely proud of the achievements of our 5th wave and excited about the future.     On November 11, we held an insightful session, “Hiring Experience: Ingeus ZH,” where our community had the privilege of hearing from two incredible speakers 🎉 Micha Weiss from Ingeus Switzerland shared key hiring practices and valuable advice for Ukrainians looking for jobs in Switzerland, giving our mentees practical guidance on navigating the local job market. We also heard from Vira Rodionova, a former participant in Power Hub Zug’s mentorship program, who successfully found employment in Switzerland. Vira shared her personal story of adaptation, highlighting both challenges and successes as she stepped into a new professional landscape. A heartfelt thank you to Micha and Vira for their contributions, and to everyone who participated! Together, we continue to grow and support each other on this journey 💪🌍

    🚀 On October 30th, we held an impactful session with Mariia Dvornikova on "LinkedIn for Job and Networking." Mariia shared invaluable insights into optimizing LinkedIn profiles to stand out in the job market and build a meaningful network. The session covered essential topics: 🔹 What LinkedIn is and its primary functions 🔹 How to create an all-star LinkedIn profile, focusing on profile photo, industry, location, summary, current position, skills, and education 🔹 Why your headline matters and how to make it impactful 🔹 Tips on filling out the experience section using action verbs and measurable results 🔹 Expanding your network with intentional connections and the best practices for adding contacts 🔹 How to use LinkedIn’s QR code feature to easily share your profile at networking events Many mentees found the session immensely helpful, leaving comments like “Thank you so much, Mariia 🤗 The information is simply invaluable and very important 👍🏼” and “Thank you for the session!
