At EY, we spend a lot of time exploring the different applications and usage patterns of #GenAI across our business. And you can't do this without engaging in the topic of Agentic Workflows. But what are the different characteristics that #AI Agents can take on across the organization? In the attached article, my friend Sinclair Schuller and I explore the different characteristics of an AI agent, and what organizations can do to prepare themselves for autonomous at scale. https://lnkd.in/eU8TajYZ

Have gotten a lot of pings about my last post re:Agents are the new App Tier. For those who are interested in exploring more, take a read of the this writeup and taxonomy from Dan & Sinclair (two of the best minds in enterprise AI) on how Agents will begin to reshape the fabric of every business. Honestly, there is a lot of hype & press about so called "agents" that are really just RAG posing as agents. This taxonomy is important to understand and we expect a maturation to full atonomous agents (both virtual & physical) over time. Let us know if you have a different perspective. Glad to have the discussion.

Every business must assess AI needs, then the fun part begins. If you're interested in a complimentary AI audit, leave a comment and I'll reach out. 1. The article discusses the current trend of businesses asking themselves if they are ready for AI. 2. Larger companies with bigger budgets have been early adopters of AI, but now smaller and medium-sized companies are starting to consider it. 3. The first step in becoming an AI-enabled business is to conduct an AI assessment to identify challenges and opportunities. 4. Once a list of challenges and opportunities has been identified, companies can research and choose the best AI tools for their specific needs. 5. The final step is to create an AI roadmap, which outlines the plan for implementing the chosen AI tools and prioritizing projects.
