We hope environmental organizations will continue to embrace increasing the use of biofuels as one of their goals to reduce the carbon content and toxic emissions from every gallon of gasoline and diesel in every vehicle every day. The path to a healthier environment and environmental justice has to be paved with cleaner fuels and powered by educated consumers. While new markets and technologies for electric vehicles continue to develop, there are no good reasons not to use biofuels to replace the benzene and benzene-laced aromatics in gasoline and diesel fuel. #gasolinegate

It’s almost Global Month of Volunteering (GMV)! For all my #Amazonians out there, we share our resources to benefit customers all year round, but GMV is a great time to do the same for the communities we’re part of too. Giving back to our communities is fundamentally Amazonian - just look at our LP “Success and scale bring broad responsibility”. The link below is an effort to support a non politically polarized effort - Cancer Research. A pain, many of us/ our families have unfortunately been impacted by. https://lnkd.in/g-VyyfFQ #sellinpartnerservices #spsgives #globalmonthofvolunteerig #amazon #corporateresponsibility #sps

To become known for who you are and the work you do as a nonprofit leader in your community, focus on these four elements: 1. Consistency: Every time you speak, deliver on your promise. Show up as someone who embodies a "can-do" attitude, building confidence in those around you. 2. The Long Game: Reputation is built over time, not overnight. It's not about what you decide but what the community decides based on observing and hearing you. Your leadership is judged by how you live it. 3. Perseverance: You'll experience both successes and failures. The key is to keep going. Show the community that starting over is okay by modeling resilience. 4. Persistence: There is no beginning or end of the year. If you take a month off, so do your supporters. Keep going all year, rain or shine. Thanks for the shout out, Sam Caplan! For many years it was a lonely place, practicing trust-based principles in the corporate philanthropy world, as my friend Shaady Salehi can attest. But slowly more and more companies began to experiment and then dive right in and as Sam highlights from his recent ACCP Conference experience, trust-based work is now everywhere in the corporate landscape. This is what we call movement building. At T. Rowe Price we have counseled nearly 300 companies since early 2020 on trust-based related areas and are happy more and more are taking the courageous steps to advance their practice. Stay diligent. Recognize the recent and familiar obstacles to try to stop this movement. Understand that this movement has always been driven by the voices of local community leaders who have longed called out the challenging behaviors of philanthropy, who are now starting to listen and change. These community voices have never been and will never be wrong. Enough high-fiving, we got work to do.
Y'all, I worked really hard on this video so please watch it, like it, and send it to any talent agencies where you have connections! Shoutouts to Linda N. from Microsoft for Nonprofits, John B., and my former employer Walmart. #philanthropy #CSR Association of Corporate Citizenship Professionals
