A small act of kindness can go a long way to help us to support UK police, past and present. £15 can provide access to a wellbeing app for one year. £50 will go towards the cost of a clinical assessment to ensure those impacted by trauma get access to the right help and support. Show police you care this Christmas and make a donation now. Leave a thank you message with your donation and we’ll share it with those who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe. Your support will help us provide specialist clinical therapy, access to mental health support and financial assistance to those who have been exposed to physical and psychological trauma in their policing role. Visit https://lnkd.in/ePa2uXZd to find out more and #ShowPoliceYouCare. Together we can do more to help reduce the impact of trauma in UK policing and restore the lives of our beneficiaries. #ThankYou #MentalHealthMatters #PoliceCareUK #ShowPoliceYouCare #ChristmasAppeal

RACE 2 UPDATE! Join me in making a life-changing difference! I'm raising $10k to provide 5 survivors of human trafficking with 3 months of counseling through the Special Operations Finding Kids aftercare program. These courageous individuals deserve and need counseling to heal from unimaginable trauma and rebuild their lives. Let's give them the support they need to thrive again. Donate and share now and be a part of their journey to healing and hope. The link is in my Bio. #EndHumanTrafficking #SupportSurvivors" These survivors have endured unimaginable trauma, and counseling is crucial for them to address their emotional wounds, rebuild their sense of self-worth, and learn healthy coping mechanisms. Counseling can empower them to break free from the cycle of abuse and exploitation, reclaim their lives, and build a brighter future. https://gofund.me/446ec660

The impact of domestic violence extends far beyond physical scars. This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, I’m fundraising to help survivors access the resources they need to heal. Survivors face higher risks of PTSD, depression, and substance abuse. But there's hope. Last year, the Center helped over 1,000 survivors access free legal representation and community resources to rebuild their lives safely. Your donation can make a real difference. Donate today to help a domestic violence access life-changing help. https://lnkd.in/g9MuGvUT Together, we can break the cycle. #EndDomesticViolence #DVAwarenessMonth

As the seasons change, so do our wardrobes. For many survivors of trauma, particularly domestic abuse, clothing can carry painful memories tied to difficult times. The decision to part with these clothes isn't just about making space in your closet—it’s an act of courage and healing. Clothes hold emotional weight, and for trauma survivors, certain items can trigger distressing memories. Letting go of them is a step toward reclaiming agency. It allows you to break emotional ties to the past and signals a move toward healing. Psychologically, this process aligns with the idea of cognitive restructuring—reframing painful associations and making room for healthier ones. Donating these clothes to charity can be especially empowering, transforming something tied to pain into an act of kindness for others. Parting with these garments is a brave way to release the past, grieve, and step into a new chapter defined by growth and resilience. Time to say bye bye to some clothes 👋 #HealingJourney #LettingGo #TraumaRecovery #Empowerment #MentalHealthMatters #ReclaimYourStory #DonateForGood #SeasonOfChange #PostTraumaticGrowth #SelfCompassion #NewBeginnings #EmotionalWellness #ClothesWithMeaning

Right now, someone you know is silently struggling. It might be a family member, a friend or even a colleague. We know statistically that less than half of anyone in need in NB is getting support. Without easy access to care, those struggling are left feeling hopeless and alone. For some, the consequences can be devastating. This is precisely the reason why we started Just Us, so counselling is accessible to anyone in need. By making a donation to Just Us today on GivingTuesday, you can help: ❤️provide free and low-cost counselling sessions to those in need; ❤️fund community partnership programs that connect people with counselling in safe spaces; ❤️offer First Responders and military personnel free drop-in peer support; ❤️educate others about mental health, reducing stigma and encouraging more people to seek help. We want to make sure everyone gets the help they deserve, regardless of finances. To do this we require assistance to continue providing affordable and accessible mental health care. Whether it’s $10 or $100, your gift will directly impact the lives of those who are struggling to find a way forward. Because mental health doesn’t wait. Please act now and join us in making sure help is available when it’s needed most. Each donation will be eligible for a tax receipt. Thank you for your generosity! May is mental health awareness month and I want to highlight some of the excellent work that is being done at the Children's Mental Health Resource Center (CMHRC). CMHRC offers diagnostic consultations to families. The diagnostic process can be a confusing one for parents and caregivers. Insurance, DSM, and ICD-10 codes often dictate what diagnosis a child will be labeled with and parents don’t always get a complete explanation of why that diagnosis was given. Many families have difficulty accessing assessments for their children because of waiting lists for qualified providers or because of insurmountable geographic or financial obstacles. CMHRC works with families and healthcare providers to provide straightforward information designed to facilitate access to accurate diagnosing and effective treatment -- all of which can be lifechanging to the child and parents. If you're feeling generous this month, consider making a donation to CMHRC. I serve on the board of this fantastic org and support their work with a monthly donation. https://lnkd.in/gz58MuZq

Children across the UK are facing greater challenges than ever, with mental health conditions such as anxiety & depression rising, high levels of poverty leading to inequality & lack of opportunity. Many children are simply carrying a load that’s too heavy to manage alone, so this year, we are asking you to help make life lighter for children. Today we are in our PJs and sending in a donation to support Children in Need 🧸 What are you doing to support children in need this year? #FlourishEducation
