RACE 2 UPDATE! Join me in making a life-changing difference! I'm raising $10k to provide 5 survivors of human trafficking with 3 months of counseling through the Special Operations Finding Kids aftercare program. These courageous individuals deserve and need counseling to heal from unimaginable trauma and rebuild their lives. Let's give them the support they need to thrive again. Donate and share now and be a part of their journey to healing and hope. The link is in my Bio. #EndHumanTrafficking #SupportSurvivors" These survivors have endured unimaginable trauma, and counseling is crucial for them to address their emotional wounds, rebuild their sense of self-worth, and learn healthy coping mechanisms. Counseling can empower them to break free from the cycle of abuse and exploitation, reclaim their lives, and build a brighter future. https://gofund.me/446ec660

The impact of domestic violence extends far beyond physical scars. This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, I’m fundraising to help survivors access the resources they need to heal. Survivors face higher risks of PTSD, depression, and substance abuse. But there's hope. Last year, the Center helped over 1,000 survivors access free legal representation and community resources to rebuild their lives safely. Your donation can make a real difference. Donate today to help a domestic violence access life-changing help. https://lnkd.in/g9MuGvUT Together, we can break the cycle. #EndDomesticViolence #DVAwarenessMonth

At the heart of every nonprofit addiction center lies a promise: To turn compassion into action. To transform barriers into bridges. To create a path where hope meets healing. Addiction doesn’t just affect individuals—it ripples through families, communities, and futures. Nonprofit organizations in this field do more than provide treatment; they restore dignity, build connections, and offer second chances. So we all know that HT is horrible, and traumatic. We know it shouldn’t happen, and our laws and culture need to change to protect our children better. We all know that it takes a lot of resources and support to stand a chance at healing. But what would you do to truly help a survivor? Would you help them heal, if you could? Would you trade one cup of coffee per week? A $20 monthly donation could make all the difference in the life of a survivor. ☕️☕️☕️☕️—>Life-Saving Therapy: Humansave.org/donate It will take all of us, together, to end human trafficking within our generation.

Creating Suicide Safe Communities - for the next 8 days any donation you make will be doubled, until we hit £5k. It really is that simple! 546 people died by suicide last year in the West Midlands. We understand that education, awareness, training, reducing stigma and collaboration with the local community are critical to suicide prevention. This is why we have designed a bespoke, targeted training programme for frontline services in the community to ensure we are reaching the most at-risk groups with effective, proven suicide prevention support and long-term interventions to actively reduce suicides and create educated, empowered, suicide-safe communities. https://lnkd.in/eYqSKiDT Big Give #Kind2Mind

When children experience trauma, they have physical, emotional, and cognitive responses that they do not know how to control. Climate-related disasters, conflict, and forced displacement put a heavy emotional burden on children and their families. These stressors can inhibit brain development and a child’s ability to learn, limiting their futures. Play is a powerful force for supporting children's emotional well-being. It provides the tools necessary for children to cope in their own way. Help us empower children to heal by donating to our Children's Emergency Fund. https://ow.ly/USC650SXfMb These donations allow us to respond quickly to crisis situations and ensure that children have the resources, spaces, and support they need to cope with trauma and keep learning. 📑Read the policy brief here: https://ow.ly/GX5X50SXfJM #Children #ChildSafety #ChildProtection #GlobalCrises #Displacement #Empower #PsychosocialSupport

May is mental health awareness month and I want to highlight some of the excellent work that is being done at the Children's Mental Health Resource Center (CMHRC). CMHRC offers diagnostic consultations to families. The diagnostic process can be a confusing one for parents and caregivers. Insurance, DSM, and ICD-10 codes often dictate what diagnosis a child will be labeled with and parents don’t always get a complete explanation of why that diagnosis was given. Many families have difficulty accessing assessments for their children because of waiting lists for qualified providers or because of insurmountable geographic or financial obstacles. CMHRC works with families and healthcare providers to provide straightforward information designed to facilitate access to accurate diagnosing and effective treatment -- all of which can be lifechanging to the child and parents. If you're feeling generous this month, consider making a donation to CMHRC. I serve on the board of this fantastic org and support their work with a monthly donation. https://lnkd.in/gz58MuZq

Hey, brainiacs! I'm taking part in the push up challenge for Mental Health. Here are some funny reasons why you should donate to this awesome cause: 1) Because life is hard and people need help to cope 2) Brains are squishy and mushy, but science shows you can reshape them no matter how old you get. 3) Working out keeps me sane, so I won't freak out at you 4) It's the biggest fundraising event for mental health in Australia 5) Stick one to the man and get some money back for doing good! The Push for Better Foundation is a legit charity in Australia and you can claim your donation on your taxes. (ABN 49645093349) 6) I also put my money where my mouth is, so you know it's good stuff.
