Just like I promised, here are a few skills you should have if you are looking to apply for an entry-level job I'll be leaving you guys to let me know which other skills you think one should have before applying for an entry-level job. Awesome things to note here Olayinka T. Hannah I also think we could add Resilience and Growth Mindset. Some people lack patience, they get into a job and start planning their promotion without planning to put in the work it'd require. Some people also get too comfortable in a place and loose the desire to become better or improve themselves, entry level shouldn't be permanent, strive to move higher.
The ability to learn quickly and be proactive is key. All of these are valid Olayinka T. Hannah
Learning how to write sounds unimportant, but you'll understand how important it is when your boss ask you to do some tasks you'll need good writing skills for.
Great share, Olayinka. I particularly like how you've taken this phase of your life, turned it to a story and you are sharing the lessons with your community. It shows that you are not only intentional about your growth but also happy to let others learn from your process. Thank you for being a beacon of light and giving others a glimpse of the journey that you are currently on.
The skill of availability and resilience At this point, all odds will arise and leave you optional... I'm talking out of experience. Just make yourself available. Don't be difficult to reach out to... Thanks for sharing this amazing Carousel, Olayinka T. Hannah
These are valid points for the basic skills one should possess. The internet has made it easy to learn some basic things. Then that "ability to learn and easily adapt" is very important too Good share Olayinka T. Hannah
Communication skills is the basis for all forms of success. Opportunities would always open up when you're great at connecting with people. And there's no connecting without communication. Pay attention to communication. Loved this Wueen
Understanding communication goes a long way for you in the work environment
Every point is a hit. You can never go wrong with learning how to write. Plus, it wouldn't be nice if you can't express yourself whether in written or verbal form. Good morning, Olayinka T. Hannah

7moThe ability to sell yourself. You can have all the skills required but if you fumbled at selling yourself when faced with opportunity. You will lose out. 2. Emotional intelligence: How you handle conflict, tests, feisty customers, annoying colleagues, how do you handle tantrums etc. 3. Peaceful conflict resolution: I have seen people who are good at what they do but their survival instinct aka agbero attitude continues to rear its ugly head. They fight for everything. Lie. Do eye service. Talk bad about others just to look good. Check your Trauma or like we say it here, drop your family problems at home.
