This whole Uber freight ordeal that has taken my feed by storm this week... We cannot know exactly how this will affect anyone until we allow some time to pass; time will show us what has transpired and if it was a good move or not for them specifically but for the rest of us freight logistics providers, I do not believe this is good news. They will back solicit, even if they say they wouldn't, they are just too big not to go after your customers, this is just how many of these companies grow, they collect data from smaller businesses and use it to their advantage. What we can do as logistics providers is to give our customers what we believe in and that is a value add that uber and other large providers may not be willing to provide. At the end of the day, control what you can control, focus on your own business and show your customers there is value in using your services over anyone else's. #logistics #freightbroker #trucking

If somebody has a buddy who is a higher up at Uber, They 100% should co-broker and access that capacity. Hard pass for the rest of us.

1wI don't see it as a problem at all I love it , coming back into brokering after being on the shipper side for a few years it is a great idea. Anyone remember the shipping show that featured Uship ... everyone was so scared they would take over the world and they did - HOT SHOT and AUTO to the tune of 1.9 billion but did it truly affect day to day brokering of goods ... Nope .. If you spend all you time worrying about others books of business and what they are doing ??? who is worrying about yours. Focus on the things you can control, when issues occur be flexible enough to pivot - for every real broker has already lost his #1 -#2 -#3 and possible their #4 clients already and the good ones reload and just promote the next customer up and find a new one. Rinse and repeat. Call -Book load- Call again
