It’s a great way to show you’re invested in the area while getting visibility! 2. Get Involved with Community Groups🤝: Join local business associations, attend meetups, or participate in online community groups. I’m looking for some recommendations or advice… even just perspective. It’s abit of a long post but it’s for charity, so please read if you can. We have launched a couple of events now and they have been really successful. We had a great time the people that have taken part of had a great time and it’s been valuable for building the community and helping businesses to grow inside the Tameside area. The reason I mentioned this, and this is where I need advice, I had the idea of turning this into a regular thing. A networking event where the focus is on the community and business growth inside there local area. We would take a charity inside that area that is acting as a pillar for the community, create the event and invite people to attend for free (donation of what you think it’s worth to go to the charity of the event). Ideally we would be focusing on C suite, SLTs and business owners as an attendees. Offer some sponsored slots for people to talk, in which the money raised will go completely to the charity. We wouldn’t take a penny. This would all be for the charity. We are good at running events and this is our way of giving back to them and the community. I don’t know if this will work or if it’s something that already been done but I’d love to get some feedback from my network to see what they think. You all have an incredible wealth of experience in terms of being networking events and even running events. Thanks in advance.
