How about stop sending or asking clients for sensitive documents using unencrypted email? It's the first & last mile/km so start there and show some respect for clients privacy.

This reminds everyone including proffessional services leke Legal, Accountancy etc that defences against cyber attacks and threats are very real . Long gone are the days when such firms would just lock their filing cabinets and putting sensitive documents in a safe. Today they not only need a Cyper Protection policy but actually implement one in practice. Forget mission statements about protection, instead be pro active on cyber defence, Such free advice from NCSC can be trusted. so why ignore it?

The NCSC produces some great guidance but I wonder if it reaches the required audience. Many people in cyber / infosec / IT will see this stuff but I doubt small / medium legal firms will.
