Heidi is growing. Really, really fast. Not sure when it happened, but it feels like we've been shot out of the other side of the 0 to 1 Wormhole. The question now becomes; How do we maintain the tenacity of a 20 group team with a phat doughnut 🍩 in the Stripe account when we now grapple with the problem of scaling many millions in ARR beyond a team of 50, 100, 250. I'm honestly not sure, but the peeps we hire have to something to do with it. So... We're hiring for more roles in the U.S. To continue the space reference, we want people who can add their own fuel to the Heidi rocket ship, not just space wasters in our payload. Whether thats an altruistic desire to help people (lets call it a nice green energy), or you're more of crude oil, driven by a fierce desire to win, all fuel is fuel. We just want grit and energy. You can see more about the role below, but think high-eq-generalist with a BD flare. Someone that charts paths through problems of any sort. Empathetic, personable, and able to infuse our core tenant of being "clinician obsessed." If it sounds a bit indeterminate, honestly, its by nature. You'll help shape what the role becomes and hopefully create swim lanes for yourself in the process that we aren't even thinking about today. I recently saw a job description for a Sr. Manager RevOps role. These were the primary responsibility bullets (and yes... there were 2-3 sub-bullets under each). --Revenue strategy --Pricing strategy --Sales operations --Marketing operations --Go to market metrics --Data analysis and insight --GTM tech stack strategy --Budget management --Go to market team alignment --Commission management Salary OTE... $150k. I'm sorry... what?! I've had several of these convos with recruiters where this is the responsibility, they don't want to hire a team just a single person, and want to pay them slightly more than the base salary of an Enterprise AE without commission. I fundamentally believe in RevOps and the power it can unleash to help businesses scale. It better be worth more than this. But if you expect one person to 1) possess the talent to do all those things (even some half-baked), 2) let them design and deploy a strategy to make it happen, and 3) not go insane doing it alone and expect to pay them less than 1 enterprise rep while making them facilitate commission payments to every rep... you're delusional, or just love hiring someone who's going to burnout quickly. If you're serious about scaling your revenue... you've got to be serious about paying the people who will make it all happen what they're worth... and ... cough... it's more than one single rep. Seeing so many new companies (last 5 years) over title all of their first hires, it's ok to just hire a BD guy or a sales guy or a backend developer. You don't have to give them VP of Biz Dev or Head of Sales or Head of Development just because they are one of your first few hires. Makes scaling in the future a mess and you blow the chance at being able to promote/hire A players to actually fill that position.

Welcome to March and the last month of Q1. Posting a set of new roles with some exciting companies. Head over to the career section of their websites for more details- - Traceable is hiring across a ton of roles. Marketing, Sales, Channels and Pre-Sales. Go check them out. - CoLab Software is hiring for Pre-Sales, Account Management, and Sales. Canadian company with interesting solutions and good pmf. The roles all appear remote. - Clari has open roles in Engineering, Marketing, Product and others. Clari is a fantastic company with great leadership. - Keepit is hiring SDRs, which looks interesting. - Salesloft is hiring Enterprise Development Reps. Chances are you have used their product before. - Rapid7 is hiring Sales Development Reps. - NinjaOne is hiring remote Account Managers. - Benchling is hiring Global Account Managers in several regions. - NVIDIA is hiring a Global Account Manager for Gaming. You may have heard of this company 😉. Here is an additional tip for those looking for roles. Go to Jobscan (this isn't a LinkedIn influencer post, I have no relationship with them) and set up an account. You can scan the job you are interested in by either linking to the job post or copy/paste the post. Then you can compare it to your resume to gauge keyword matching. The best way to find a new role is through your network. Only ~5% of B2B Software companies are hiring RevOps roles.   But the salaries are quite high…   Based on open jobs in PeerSignal's B2B Software Index, 12% are $200K+, 35% are $150K+. There are a handful around $350K.   i.e. Demand skews toward senior talent.   Here are a few examples:   * Matillion -- Vice President, Revenue Operations ($230-285K) * Rippling -- Sales Strategy Senior Manager ($126-220K) * Endor Labs -- Director of Revenue Operations ($150-215K) * Modern Health -- Director of Revenue Operations ($190-248K) * Docker, Inc -- VP, Revenue Operations ($206-258K) * Miro -- Senior Manager, Sales Strategy and Operations ($188-247K)   If you're looking for an entry level role in RevOps, it might take some patience to break-in...   But there seems to be lots of upside.   And I'd bet that RevOps becomes increasingly important in the next couple years.   Smart companies already value the function.   With more AI and automation coming, we're going to need strategists and operators. Someone will need to orchestrate and coordinate. There's no real "easy button."   I see that kind of talent sitting in Growth and RevOps for the most part.
