🌟 Kicking off the week with some key takeaways from my trip to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland ✈️💡 ✅ 1. We made the right call not to make MCG Consulting too London-centric. There’s so much talent and opportunity across the UK and Ireland that can benefit from our programmes. 🌍 ✅ 2. What we’re offering has real value. Each organisation has its own story, and they’re eager to find better ways to support their people.🤝 ✅ 3. This is just the beginning! Our mission is to connect with all the law societies across the UK and Ireland, making our CMAR programme the gold standard for employee well-being, providing year round support🏆 But we're not stopping there! We're already working in other sectors and talking to large organisations. If you have people, we can help! 🙌 ✅ 4. Our MentorAdvance Programme is generating so much interest! We believe that training both mentors and mentees is crucial. Preparation for both parties maximises the impact and benefits on both sides. When mentors and mentees are equipped with the right tools, everyone thrives! 💪🤝 ✅ 5. Many organisations care about their employees but are unsure how best to support them. We can help! 💼 ✅ 6. The generational gap is a learning opportunity—bridging it will benefit everyone. 🔗 ❤️🥔 7. My love for Taytos remains irrationally strong—started in 1986 and shows no sign of stopping! If I could have smuggled more back, I would have. 👀 The experience and response from this trip have been so exciting. 🚀 We’ve got incredible times ahead as we continue to expand our network, grow our team, and spread the word about our services far and wide. 🌟 If your organisation is looking for ways to support your people, let's connect! 👉 Follow our company MCG Consulting Ltd for more updates, and feel free to get in touch to discuss how we can help your organisation thrive! Here’s to an amazing week ahead! 🎉 #CMAR #MentorAdvance #EmployeeWellbeing #Leadership #MentorshipMatters #MCGConsulting

Exciting news again: #BCG Offer in Milan! 🎉 The journey to this achievement wasn't easy, but it's a testament to perseverance and a positive mindset. The learning curve in the consulting prep process can be steep, but staying motivated and resilient is key. What set this mentee apart were his unyielding positivity! Even when the going got tough, he maintained a high spirit. His positive attitude was crucial in navigating the typical ups and downs of the preparation journey. Also, he took every piece of feedback to heart and worked diligently to improve. His progress was visible week by week, a true testament to his dedication. How do you push yourself out of your comfort zone? By taking on challenging yet interesting experiences!! I'm excited to share that I just wrapped up my first-ever case competition as part of the Business Innovation Challenge, and our team secured a 2nd place! 🎉 This experience was filled with unexpected challenges and valuable learning opportunities. Here are a few key takeaways for me: 1. Learning happens in the most unexpected ways - stay humble and be open to new experiences 2. Be proactive - don't hesitate to ask questions and seek clarity when needed 3. Always seek feedback - this is how we grow 4. Create something you genuinely interest in! Be intentional and genuine in pursuing your goals The best part of this journey? Definitely the people! A big thank you to my incredible teammates: Daniel Wang, Linh Nguyen and Aria H.. What makes a training course worth the money? Seeing the new learnings being put into practice to drive business performance? What’s the single biggest factor in making that happen? The commitment of the leadership team to ensuring that the training is implemented. Hats off to the team at The Forge - they should an outstanding level of commitment to this training programme and they are seeing the benefits immediately. If you think your team could benefit from something like this, please get in touch. But only if you are committed to making it work. No time wasters. 😉
What’s the difference between a transactional relationship and a meaningful one? 👉 Seeking to understand, before you are understood 👉 Communication based on trust, empathy and positive intent 👉 Giving proactively, not reactively 👉 Shared passions, aspirations & values The quality of your relationships matter. The quality of your relationships with your clients matter. With your boss, your team. The quality of these relationships impact everything, from the quality of your work to how you feel every day. We love working with people who recognise this. People are interested in truly collaborating, in working with people who share similar passions and values. Who are interested in more than simply delivering a service and moving on. Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of designing and delivering a transformative four-month learning journey for insight-driven innovation consultancy, The Forge, to help them shift from account-based, transactional business relationships to deep, quality, personal connections that would unlock new growth and value. If your agency or consultancy is still stuck in a transactional mindset, you might be interested in reading the case study of our work with The Forge (linked below) to understand more about how we can help. 👇 https://lnkd.in/epAN7ASi #MarketingTraining #CaseStudy #LeadershipTraining #MarketingFundamentals #Upskilling #BrandGrowth

I still try to keep track of my work here on Linkedin, eve though most of the times offline just takes so much energy that I forget posting about it. After years of envisioning and refining, we've finally launched our very own online learning platform designed to empower entrepreneurs, top managers, and passionate leaders to achieve personal and professional growth like never before. Our first cohort kicked off on February 1st, comprising individuals hungry for knowledge and eager to elevate their skills. What sets YASSA apart? We offer a diverse range of 20+ courses meticulously crafted to systemize key business processes including Marketing, HR, Finance, Sales, Business Law, Design Thinking, Business Planning, and more. But it doesn't stop there. We've curated a team of esteemed professors, both locally and internationally renowned experts, boasting education from Ivy League institutions and executive experience across Kazakhstan and the globe. It was no small feat to secure their involvement, but their dedication to our mission speaks volumes. What truly sets YASSA apart is our commitment to hands-on learning. Each month, our participants engage in immersive 2-day offline sessions, delving into real-world case studies and collaborating with industry experts to apply their newfound knowledge. But education is only half the equation. We recognize the importance of holistic development, which is why we've integrated executive coaching into our program. Our coach guides participants through neurosprints, fostering a balance between professional growth and personal well-being. And let's not forget about business tracking. Led by serial entrepreneur Sergey, our tracking program ensures seamless integration of learned concepts into participants' companies, driving tangible results from day one. For those seeking international expansion, we offer exclusive opportunities for networking and collaboration through foreign trips to meet potential partners, clients, and investors. Our recent excursion to Spain was just the beginning! Personally, this journey has been incredibly fulfilling. To create an “EMBA”program centered on implementation and tailored to the needs of our participants is a dream come true. Witnessing their transformation already in just two short months fills me with immense pride and gratitude. For more updates, be sure to follow YASSA EDU Thank you for support and comments under my previous posts and being a part of this incredible journey! 🚀 #YASSA #Empowerment #Education #Entrepreneurship #LeadershipDevelopment

During the recent Asia Professional Speakers Singapore members' retreat in Phuket with fellow APSS member Grant 'Axe' Rawlinson, I had an epiphany moment that challenged conventional thinking. We often believe more is better and that complex strategies are superior. However, Grant demonstrated to us the power of simplicity. He shared his successful 5-step process for scaling his business globally in just 6 years. While some of us were reaching for more paper, Grant's wisdom urged us to distill the essence of our strategy into 17 words or less. 💡 🚀Why this approach works: Focus: Fewer words demand deeper thought and clarity. More focus = more strategic. 🎯 Recall: A concise strategy is easier to remember and articulate, even without notes. 🧠 Vision: It fosters a clear vision of success, helping you stay on track. 👁️ For example, Gandhi's strategy could be succinctly summarised as "non-violent resistance". Three simple words that changed the course of history. As a financial trainer who simplifies the complex for non-finance people, I find this concept resonates deeply. From my experience, the fewer words I am able to use to distillate a concept, the clearer it is for my learners. It requires deep thinking and clarity on my part to be able to explain something based on first principles, instead of hiding behind standard textbook definitions. Less is truly more. Don't forget: Establish a timeframe for your strategy. This allows for evaluation, adjustments, and potential pivots. ⏳ Thank you, Grant Axe, for your insightful facilitation and generous sharing! 🙏 #strategy #simplifysuccess #professionalspeakers

Ever Wondered How You Become a Speaker or Facilitator? 🤔 🪧 My 4 Steps To Step Into Speaking During my finance career I often attended speeches & training, and thought - “That looks like a good gig!” But like many things back then, … I used to think that options like those didn’t exist for mere mortals like me However the skills & experience we build in our careers actually have a lot more market value than we think 🤔 1️⃣ Put Yourself Out There My speaking & teaching gigs with consultancies & universities have all come from contacts I made trying new things and being open to new connections So get out there and talk to people 2️⃣ Tell The World What You Want If you want to add speaking, teaching or facilitation to your Portfolio Career - start telling people If you never say - no one will ever know … or think of you 3️⃣ Everything Compounds Most mid-career professionals have some experience presenting - at townhalls, events, running training Even the greatest in the world start somewhere … so don’t short-change yourself Believe you too can learn to become great … and small initial gigs (Q&A’s, moderating, panel discussions) lead to bigger things 4️⃣ Say Yes! Most important of all … when the opportunity comes yourway - make sure you say “Yes!” With preparation we can do almost anything … and nothing builds skill like practice! 🔑 Openness & Opportunity On my journey I’ve found again a & again that openness leads to opportunities So open yourself up to possibility … And grab your chances when they come Remember, life is meant to be lived Big - so take your shot ✨ #LifeStyleFreedom #LiveBIGBreakFREE 📸 Having fun teaching mid-career professionals on the BCG U: RiSe Green Economy Program 👨🏫

Ivan, you hit the nail right on the head with “life is meant to be lived Big - so take your shot”. Can I be honest with you? There was a time when I often found myself drowning in thoughts of not being good enough. Whether it was work, making friends, or even my hobbies, the fear of not measuring up was always lurking in the back of my mind. But one day, I realized something. These feelings of inadequacy were just that “feelings”. They weren’t facts. They weren’t defining who I was or what I was capable of. The truth is, we are all a work in progress. We have our strengths and our weaknesses. And that’s okay. That’s what makes us human. So if we ever find ourself worrying about not being good enough; remember, we are enough just as we are. We don’t have to be perfect to be worthy. We don’t have to do everything right to be valuable. In the long run, it’s not about being good enough for someone else or the world but about being true to ourself and giving our best in everything we do. My takeaways: Personal growth is often glamorized, but the truth is that it is in those severely uncomfortable moments when we’re facing our anxieties and fears that true growth happens. And trust me, doing our best is more than enough!
