You could be missing out on revenue because of this one simple edit 👀 We carried out an audit across multiple ad accounts, pulling 12 months worth of data and analysing the results and something we noticed which won't necessarily be news to a lot of you was that a little over 80% of top converting video (predominantly UGC) all had one thing in common. They all used subtitles as well as a voice-over. Like I said, not ground breaking news but we have audited our fair share of accounts this year and it is something that has been missing from a lot of them! Apparently Meta doesn't understand their own product. Instead of teasing AR assembly instructions, they are teasing watching a 2D video floating somewhere around. So instead of showcasing a real benefit, they show how their tech can be used to substitute a tablet in a subpar way. 🤔 Getting a company like IKEA on board for actually building such an app shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Meta has been subtly teasing the first steps to their Quest OS overhaul in new ads. We have yet to see the full picture, but with the Quest 3s launch nearing, we can be sure it won't be long before it goes live.

There is a lot of speculation about Meta during BFCM. Here's what I'm expecting to see... 1. Meta will be super glitchy. Just upload your campaigns way ahead of time. You might end up stuck trying to upload assets forever. This happens every single BFCM. And yeah, expect wild performance swings. 2. CPC's will be through the roof Competition is going to be insanely high and your costs will show it. Expect to see your usual CPC's double or even triple during peak hours. I usually suggest having backup creative ready to swap in case performance tanks. Your best performing ads of all time should scale during BFCM. 3. Creative fatigue will hit fast Don't expect your UGC ads to last more than a day or two max. The audience will get saturated super quickly with everyone pushing holiday deals. I recommend having at least 3-4 backup VSLs per campaign ready to go. What are your predictions?

Optimisation Score on Meta! Meta has introduced an Optimization Score but we'll call it an "Opportunity Score" since that's what they call it. It's exciting to see how the platform continues to evolve and offer more tools to media buyers throughout a campaign's lifecycle. However, it's important to consider whether this new score helps media buyers optimize more effectively or gives the platform more power to recommend actions that benefit itself first. Biases aside, the improved breakdown and additional features in Meta's interface are a welcome development for practitioners.
