How fast does it take to get SEO results? It depends. If you tip-toe in to "gauge" the temperature, it's gonna take a long time to see results. But if you jump in yelling to Google "Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention." and put some serious velocity behind your content, you're going to see results. The team at JCT Growth sees results each time we do this. I also constantly see Nick Jordan 📈 preaching the same thing. The graph below highlights the results we've seen from a client who has been working with us to create content for the past nine months. Prior to working with us, the domain had very little organic presence, and we were essentially starting from scratch. Also, if you want a handy Data Studio dashboard to monitor results and other pages that you touch, check out Katie Wojciechowski's blog and free template. https://lnkd.in/g_Wr6cjz

Every Ranking Signal Should Tell a Story A lot of the work we do as SEOs is reducing confusion. The best way I’ve found to explain this to clients: “Make sure every ranking factor is telling a story.” With the rapidly changing landscape of SEO, I find it’s better to focus on the fundamentals of running a good site. Take an old-school SEO factor: keyword density. If the highest-density term on your page is anything but your target keyword and entities—CONFUSING. Make sure the top terms on your page match your story. Internal links? Too often, they contain everything but the target keyword or topic—CONFUSING. If I export all your internal links, they should tell a clear story about what you’re optimizing for. Ton of indexed pages that get no traffic and have nothing to do with your core product? Might wanna remove ‘em. Meta data? Are you populating it with the correct data? If not, that’s a confusing story. List can go on forever. P.S Read this post to your kids tonight and they will surely fall asleep more quickly. It's a great bedtime story.

SEO spend = $80k a month Funding = $1M Using that data for the sake of this post, a rough SEO Spend split up 👇 In-house content efforts = $36k In-house engineering/product efforts = $60k Tooling (CMS, Keyword Research, etc.) = $3.6k About $100k a year (for a channel that is crowded and takes time for results). But it does give good results if done right. Some questionsthe really matter: What is the time to value? Is SEO the right fit? What is the payback period? Betting on a channel, seeing signals from the competition, is playing the game in easy mode without much research. Doing real research (especially in the 0 to 1) and finding where the target user hangs out is time well spent. With every channel getting super crowded, the differentiator might be in creating experiments that sound crazy but hidden in plain sight.

How do you know what content you should be creating? What should you create next to maximize search impact? Many agencies will reference tools like SEMRush to take a guess at what may be working best for your competitors from a content perspective. This is fine but misses the analytical accuracy of a data science approach. The beauty of SEO is that Google is objective and what Google thinks is in the public domain in the form of their search results. We go that step further and we use the same tools Google uses to rank content, that is data science. So while we don’t pretend to be experts in your industry, data science allows us to use your competitor data to your advantage that is: 1. What to create: using set mathematics we can cut through the noise and tell you the core content Google expects of a brand operating in your search space 2. How to create it: such that your recommended content brief (and the creative itself if you let us produce it) will contain all the required sections and tags to rank top. We’ll even show you our methods just as we’re showing the SEO industry the world over in our Data Driven SEO book. SEO is NOT just using tools. It’s about STRATEGIC ACTION. Many view SEO as checking dashboards, running crawls, or analyzing keyword gaps on tools like GSC, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog. While these tools provide valuable data, SEO isn’t about the tools—it’s about the APPLICATION of data. At its core, SEO is the art and science of using experience, industry knowledge, and insights to: 1️⃣ Take strategic actions. 2️⃣ Add or enhance site information for search algorithms to process and understand your site better. Here’s the breakdown: ✅ Fixing crawling issues isn’t just technical, it’s website optimization. Every accessible page contributes to your site’s overall understanding by search engines. ✅ Improving Core Web Vitals (CWV) isn’t just for speed, it impacts user behavior and generates positive signals linked to your website. ✅ Content creation or schema markup. You’re literally telling algorithms more about your site/topic, making it easier for them to process and rank your content accurately. The Real Role of SEO SEO is about interpreting data, knowing your audience, and taking informed actions to create a better ecosystem for algorithms and users alike. It’s about making your website stand out in a crowded digital landscape, not just playing with tools or fixing surface-level issues. Tools don’t do SEO for you—they inform your decisions. The value lies in your ability to transform insights into impactful actions. What’s your take on this? Let’s discuss! 🚀 #seo #seotips #digitalmarketing #seohelp #vk

🚀 #SEOTips Alert! 🚀 SEO can often feel like a mystery, especially when the results take time to show. It’s easy to lose patience when your team is working hard behind the scenes! 🔥 To keep the momentum going, I’ve developed what I like to call the Patience Pyramid—your ultimate guide to navigating the SEO journey! 🏔️ Think of it like a funnel: 🔻 #Crawling - Accessibility #Indexation - Acceptability #Landing Pages in SERPs - Visibility #Non-Brand Query Growth - Diversity #Clicks - Engagement Here’s the scoop: The first two layers (Crawling & Indexation) are your inputs, while the next two (Landing Pages & Non-Brand Growth) represent your results. The final layer? That’s your output! 🎯 While we often fixate on the end results, it’s crucial to monitor the inputs and their progression. This approach helps illustrate that you're heading in the right direction—trust the process, and the results will follow! ⏳✨ 🔍 Pro Tip: Crawling data isn’t always easy to find (you might need to dive into server logs for larger sites), but other metrics are readily accessible through Google Search Console (GSC). Consider setting up a Data Studio dashboard to track your progress seamlessly! 📊 Here’s what I keep an eye on: 1. Landing Pages in SERPs: Remember, this isn't the same as indexation! The count will be lower, but it confirms that your indexed pages are making an appearance in search results. Keep an eye on this metric, especially after XML updates or unintentional blocks. 🔍 2. Non-Brand Query Growth: This one requires a calculated field in GSC. By tracking unique query counts, you can gauge whether your content optimization efforts are boosting keyword diversity and attracting more non-brand traffic. 🔑 Value Insight: Understanding how many unique pages are getting impressions helps assess if they’re truly worth your investment! Stay patient, keep monitoring, and remember: great results take time! 💪✨ #SEO #DigitalMarketing #PatiencePyramid
