How fast does it take to get SEO results? It depends. If you tip-toe in to "gauge" the temperature, it's gonna take a long time to see results. But if you jump in yelling to Google "Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention." and put some serious velocity behind your content, you're going to see results. The team at JCT Growth sees results each time we do this. I also constantly see Nick Jordan 📈 preaching the same thing. The graph below highlights the results we've seen from a client who has been working with us to create content for the past nine months. Prior to working with us, the domain had very little organic presence, and we were essentially starting from scratch. Also, if you want a handy Data Studio dashboard to monitor results and other pages that you touch, check out Katie Wojciechowski's blog and free template. https://lnkd.in/g_Wr6cjz

What happens if you are analyzing a large website? You are tempted to check ALL the data... but this is NOT the answer! Many decisions can be taken with a good sample, so you can save time and bandwidth. As a reference, Population = all your pages, Sample = some of your pages. 👉 some patterns can be detected via a handful of pages 👉 you can't crawl some websites in a reasonable time Faster decision-making requires you to be smarter about your time. For example, if you want to test the impact of a certain CTA on your website... You don't to check EVERY single page with the CTA. The same goes for most #seo activities. You can see what works by checking a sample of your pages. "Are the FAQs helping us?" This looks like a naive question but it elicits thought. You can take some of your pages and test! This topic is quite tricky because: ⚠ Sampling follows specific rules, you don't just pick pages you like ⚠ For technical audits, you may want to check EVERY page ⚠ Things can go wrong as you sample This is showcased by SEO case studies, where these problems are everywhere. Truth is, in most cases sampling isn't even the biggest problem but the methodology: ❌ Using correlations in the wrong place (and with the wrong method) ❌ Comparing apples to oranges ❌ Using the wrong metrics I will cover this topic in major depth in the future because it's relevant for many SEOs. The thing to keep in mind is that you don't need to inspect every single page out there! 📥 If you want to learn more about Analytics & SEO, subscribe to my newsletter in bio!
