Remember if you're in SEO or running a website, just because one "expert" says do this and not this... it's not true for every website and niche. Whether it's build links, build content, post on social, build internal links, build assets, etc, etc, You need to test and experiment to find which levers work for you. What you do need in today's environment is the ability to test faster and to lean in quickly when you find a lever that works. Don't be afraid to do multiple as well. We're living in a zero-sum environment - if you're staying still while your competitors are moving, you're going to be struggling in the future. Focus on business goals. Impressions and traffic are great leading indicators ONLY if you have a mechanism and plan to convert them into leads and fans.
