You think it’s not about you? Well, we already know that the recent fire attacks in Poland were ordered and planned (investigations are ongoing). In addition, Russia is repeatedly disrupting the GPS of planes and (to be precise, 2309 Ryanair flights over Poland in the 8 months to March 2024). * Disinformation divides us, arouses resentment and distrust of politicians (yes yes I know, many of them suck, but not all). It can lead to increased social and political tensions that weaken an already limping democracy. * Russian actions are aimed at undermining our faith in governments, media and public institutions. They want us to doubt the EU and each other. * By supporting extreme and populist parties, Russia seeks to wreck Europe from within by destabilizing its workings and using democratic principles to destroy it. * Mass participation in this election will show that we are united_ ready_ to fight for the future of Europe. Every vote is a small brick of something bigger, a signal that we will not be fooled by false narratives. * Your vote does matter, and pleaseeeee do not let this turnout be at 50%. Let’s not let misinformation being us to this point: „well all politicians are the same” (that’s not true). * We are going to the European Parliament elections in 2024, and we will not surrender Europe to the agents of the world’s most wanted bastard. Germany is the best country in Europe

A Call for a Truly United Europe - I realized this morning that the video below, in which I was announcing the creation of Together for Europe - Movement for the European Federal Union a few days after the outbreak of the #COVID19 pandemic (and the apparent inability of the #EU institutions to protect the European citizens) has surpassed the number of 100,000 views. Much as from a #LeanStartup perspective this could be a vanity metric, the average view duration makes me think that many Europeans do relate to the vision for the European Federal Union. I really think that our movement addresses a real need. Yes, #Europe is losing ground in geoeconomics and becoming truly united is the only way to preserve its merits — Which btw will only be good for all actors outside Europe, too. - Consider taking action today: Join our grassroots movement for the creation of the European Federal Union. Still feel so excited about Vivian’s victory. And a lot of learnings from Olympics: 1. Be a warrior, never give up. 2. Always set a higher target, even if you have fallen from it before. Mileage only be made when you stretch your limit. 3. Even when you fail, stay calm and keep focusing on your goal. Always stay calm. 4. When you fail, don’t focus on your emotion, focus on how you can come back better and stronger. Failure is for learning opportunities. It’s ok to fail. 5. You get more supports when you wanna win it for others, not yourself. Making others succeed would make success easier. 6. Be a team player, whoever supports you is your teammate.

Very much looking forward to speaking tomorrow (Friday) at the IIBA Poland Summit. My session "From Skepticism to Advocacy" discusses how to build credibility and help spread awareness of business analysis... even amongst seemingly "skeptical" stakeholders... but highlights how it's *our* job to do that. (And that they might be right to be skeptical, if we haven't aligned what we do to things they value) I'll blend in BA techniques, but also some ideas from the world of selling and sales. If you're at the conference, I hope to see you there! PS: As last minute preparation, like any good BA, I am reading a 1963 edition of "Soccer Star" magazine. This has direct relevance.
