If you're a marketer under 25, focus on ONE thing. Pick the choice that increases the probability of outsized returns on your time. Choose actions that can lead to the highest exponential upside: - Moving cities > staying comfy in your hometown - Going to a meet-up > another Netflix binge - Backpacking solo > splurging on the latest phone - Starting a side hustle > doing another degree Maximize your experiences per minute. It all stacks up by the time you hit 35.

I completely agree, although many factors depend on one's family situation. For ex, one of my friends, who is 23 years old, has immense potential to thrive in Bengaluru. But, he cannot relocate from a tier 2 city because his father passed away two years ago, and now he needs to take care of his mother. There are many similar stories where individuals aged 23, 25, or 27 find themselves taking care of their grandparents. In many cases, the amount of time spent on family responsibilities surpasses the time they would otherwise dedicate to personal or career growth.

Would add few more things to this awesome list: > focus more on skills in the early days > make a habit of reading industry news and reports > don't fall into tutorial hell, just take actions > don't switch companies very often stay for atleast a year > don't focus more on local opportunities only > workout guys, don't burn your eyes too much

Good with technology, people, and products! I like to keep things simple and organized. Open to full time roles.

In today's time and age, would you place 'moving cities' at numero uno on this list?

Absolutely agree! In addition to those excellent points, I'd emphasize the importance of building a diverse network early on. Connecting with professionals from various industries can open doors you never knew existed. Also, consider investing time in learning digital skills like coding or digital marketing. These skills are increasingly valuable and can set you apart in a competitive market. Lastly, don't underestimate the power of personal branding—consistently sharing your insights and experiences on platforms like LinkedIn can significantly boost your visibility and credibility. Keep pushing boundaries and exploring new horizons!

Disagree with the first one. It depends and can lead to the highest exponential upside if you measure returns in terms of health and lifestyle.

Love this! I've been traveling solo for a couple years now (why sit around if you have no one to go with?), and I've gained so much confidence and financial management just from that.
