Really exciting to see this getting national adoption. We need the entire industry to get on common ground and transistion to bring carbon into the conversation as business as usual. This is a crucial step in that direction.
We are pleased to share that the Embodied Carbon Measurement for Infrastructure: Technical Guidance has been approved for national adoption by the Infrastructure and Transport Ministers Meeting. The Measurement Guidance document was developed by Infrastructure NSW and provides a nationally consistent approach to measuring embodied emission in infrastructure projects. Congratulations to the Decarbonising Infrastructure Delivery team at Infrastructure NSW and colleagues from around the country who participated in the Measurement Sub Group for delivering this ground-breaking work! We look forward to collaborating with other jurisdictions as we continue working towards the NSW Government target of net zero emissions by 2050.
