Global Cloud Fleet’s Post

The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX), in partnership with ASPIRE and ENRX, is testing a new technology that allows electric vehicles to charge while driving on the roadway. This technology uses wireless induction charging, where energy is transferred from ground coils to a receiver pad under the vehicle through electromagnetic induction. The system can detect when an electric vehicle is above it, ensuring safety for all drivers. This innovation aims to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles and improve roadway infrastructure nationwide. The ENRX Charge 200 kW Electrified Roadway Technology is capable of powering all vehicle classes, including passenger cars, delivery vans, and heavy-duty trucks and buses. Successful tests have demonstrated high efficiency and power output, with potential for significant impact on future urban mobility.
