Let’s be real—how many times have you received a “personalized” marketing email that couldn’t be more generic if it tried? The irony of brands talking about personalization while sending out one-size-fits-all campaigns is almost too much. It's like trying to fit everyone into the same pair of jeans—awkward and uncomfortable for everyone involved. Brands, especially in the fashion and accessories industry, love to throw around the term “personalized experience” as if it’s some kind of magic spell. But here’s the thing: slapping my first name on an email doesn’t make it personal. Neither does sending me a generic “we thought you’d like this” recommendation that has nothing to do with my actual preferences. True personalization is about understanding your customer on a deeper level—knowing their likes, dislikes, shopping behaviors, and even predicting their next move. It's about curating experiences that feel tailor-made, not cookie-cutter. So, if you’re going to talk the talk, you better walk the walk. Otherwise, you’re just another brand trying to sell “personalized” in a world where consumers are increasingly demanding *real* connection. --- #marketingfail #personalization #customerexperience #brandstrategy #fashionmarketing #Singapore #singapore #fashion #Fashion #Accessories

Why hyper-personalisation in fashion increases conversion. Personalisation is not a new concept. Brands have long known that tailoring their offerings and communications towards individuals can dramatically improve customer retention and increase conversions. More than 9 out of 10 companies saw 3x ROI and increased profitability after implementing personalisation. But having done that, it should have illuminated merely a first step, leading on to far greater opportunities and rewards. https://lnkd.in/eTn-9n4X #hyperpersonalisation #fashionmarketing #fashiontech #digitalmarketing

I keep thinking about this a lot. When I started my e-commerce journey years ago, the fashion marketing playbook was simple: - Launch new collections for summer & winter. - Run some ads. - Wait for sales. But those days are over. Today's fashion brands must adapt to rapidly changing consumer tastes & expectations. If you don't want to be left behind you have to stay ahead of trends and listen to your buyers. At our agency, we've reinvented our strategies from the ground up. We now: 1. Release collections faster to match the fast pace of trends, testing product launches earlier than the traditional seasonal schedule. 2. Implemented post-purchase surveys and collected customer feedback to understand which colours, patterns, and styles resonate. These help us focus on successful products and avoid ones that won't sell. Additionally, we're diversifying our marketing channels. Beyond ads, we're using platforms like Instagram Lives, TikTok Shop, and other social storefronts to reach customers where they're browsing. Because this is the game now. You have to try a lot of different things to get in front of your audience.

Our first steps towards product market fit. We got our first 700 users in two weeks, literally, as Nadia Zueva said, with a $0 marketing budget 😎, and now have some great data to analyze our customers and continue improving the product and customer journey. Some of our biggest challenges yet opportunities right now: 1/ Very wide potential target audience. Based on the results of in-depth customer interviews, we realized that the “pain” of our users is multifaceted. We also almost immediately realized that our potential target audience was colossally broad, which gave rise to many discussions. In the end, we found out that a big group of people don't want to know everything about clothes and style combinations; they just want to look cool. We've taken this hypothesis and made outfit scoring the key feature — a quick, convenient assessment that suggests what can be improved in the current outfit. The key difference is that we don't offer our users to run immediately to the shopping mall or change the whole wardrobe :) 2/ Fashion tech market is emerging and fast growing. We have already identified interest in the US, Europe, and MENA regions. All of this is a bit overwhelming, but we’ve identified a couple of triggers, one of which solves this problem. We're already testing it and maybe I'll share the results later! 3/ Finding our USP. At the core of Aesty lies simplicity and transparency. Therefore, it is very important to think through the positioning and package our site. At the early stages (far from release), we were already included in a couple of ratings and selections where they described us exactly the way we wanted. I identify this as a success metric as well. 4/ Choosing the right channels. Taking all of that into consideration, there are three criteria that we are now focusing on: 1 - who has more money, 2 - who is not targeted by competitors, and 3 - who is the easiest to reach. This gives us an understanding of the promotion channels we want to focus on now. ——— Больше полезных материалов о продвижении продукта в моем тг-канале (ссылка в профиле👆🏼)

CREATING STRONG BRAND IDENTITY Goodday #linkedinfamily. As a fashion brand owner and creative director of AGE MERCH, this is something I have learnt and I’m applying in my business. So I thought of sharing. Finding your niche in the fashion industry is about leveraging your unique strength. Not everyone needs to chase the latest trends or secure celebrity endorsements. Success can come from focusing on what you do best, whether it’s creating standout designs, offering unbeatable customer service or excelling in logistics with fast shipping. Consider the story of a brand owner who found success not through instagram fame but by ensuring orders shipped rapidly, emphasising the importance of operational excellence. this approach set your brand apart in a crowded market. it’s a reminder that there are multiple paths to success in fashion. identify what you good at and double down on it. - Brand colour is very important. - Avoid perfectionism because it doesn’t advance anything. as a designer or creative There is no wrong way to go about the future of your career. - Mastering inventory management is crucial. Underestimating demand can lead to significant revenue loss. Utilise data analytics to forecast sales accurately, ensuring you have enough stock to meet customer demand without over investing. This balance helps maintain positive growth and customer satisfaction. NB: this strategy applies to other business too. I hope you learnt something. ♻️Repost #brand #brandidentity #fashion #Fashionenterprenuer

In today’s competitive landscape, personalized packaging isn’t just a nice touch—it’s a powerful marketing tool that enhances customer experience and drives loyalty. Personalized packaging goes beyond just a name on a box; it creates a connection between the customer and the brand. From custom-printed designs to personalized thank-you notes, brands are making packaging an integral part of the unboxing experience. For example, beauty and fashion brands often include a QR code in their packaging that links to a curated playlist or exclusive offers, furthering engagement and encouraging repeat purchases. Consumers today expect more than just a product; they want an experience that feels tailored to them. Brands like Nike, for instance, offer customizable packaging for their sneakers, allowing customers to choose colors and designs. Such experiences create a strong sense of value and exclusivity. The impact is clear—personalized packaging helps build brand loyalty, increases customer retention, and often turns customers into brand ambassadors. #PersonalizedPackaging #CustomerLoyalty #UnboxingExperience #MarketingTrends

The Impact of Scent on Consumer Behavior. The impact of scent on consumer behavior is a fascinating area of study that has shown that certain scents can influence customer behavior and emotions, which can ultimately impact their purchasing decisions. Here are some of the ways that scent can impact consumer behavior. - Mood Enhancement: Scent can influence mood and emotions, which can impact customer behavior. For example, a calming scent like lavender can help reduce stress and create a peaceful atmosphere, which can encourage customers to spend more time in the store and make more purchases. - Brand Recognition: Scent can be used as a tool to create a unique brand identity and build brand recognition. By creating a branded scent, businesses can create a sensory experience that is immediately recognizable and helps build brand loyalty. - Product Perception: Scent can influence customers' perception of a product's quality and value. For example, a fresh and clean scent can create the perception of cleanliness, which can enhance the perceived value of a product. - Emotional Connection: Scent can be used to create an emotional connection with customers. By using fragrances that evoke positive emotions, businesses can create a memorable experience that encourages customers to return. - Increased Sales: Studies have shown that scent can have a direct impact on sales. For example, a study conducted by Nike found that customers spent 80% more time in a scented store than in an unscented store. Another study found that customers were more likely to purchase a product if it was presented in a scented environment. Overall, the impact of scent on consumer behavior is a powerful tool that businesses can use to create a unique brand identity, enhance the customer experience, and increase sales. By choosing the right fragrances and incorporating them into store design and marketing materials, businesses can create a cohesive sensory experience that reinforces the brand image and builds brand loyalty. "So this client asks me: 'Why aren't our luxury bags selling like our competitors?' I smiled, because I'd heard this a hundred times before. Here's what most fashion brands get wrong: They're selling products when they should be selling emotions. But here's the game-changer: It's all about asking the right questions before you craft that perfect campaign. Like: - What's making your ideal customer lose sleep? (Hint: It's not the price tag) - Which emotion triggers an instant "I need this in my life"? - What's that ONE pain point your collection solves? - Why do they ghost you at checkout? - Can your offer make them feel like they'd be crazy to scroll past? - What's the story that'll make them feel part of something bigger? - Who's already tried and missed the mark in your space? These questions? They're not just conversation starters. They're your blueprint to fashion marketing success. 🔥 They've helped me turn "just another fashion brand" into "OMG, did you see their new drop?" They've transformed "maybe later" into "adding to cart RIGHT NOW!" Want to know how? You'll understand your audience so well, they'll wonder if you're reading their group chats. I've been in the trenches. Tested every angle. Found what actually moves the needle. And I'm here to share what works, no fluff attached.
