Interesting new study into the charging requirements to enable electric long haul truck operations across Europe The number of estimated MCS charging stations that would be required is less than previously calculated and this study also doesn't take into account depot charging Some of the numbers are a little eye watering - 12 Gigawatts of power will be required at some sites to support 20 MCS chargers! Did you say that the modelling doesn’t take depot charging into account? 🤣 Jeez, I hope some poor fool didn’t commission that load of nonsense!
