When it comes to hiring practices, inclusion is key. Research published in Harvard Business Review emphasizes the importance of including multiple diverse candidates in the recruitment process. Why? Because when only one diverse candidate is shortlisted, they often stand out, reducing their chances. By adding multiple diverse candidates, organizations can achieve a more inclusive hiring environment, avoiding tokenism and achieving meaningful inclusion. Easier said that done in a tight candidate market, but food for thought nonetheless. #Diversity #Inclusion #Recruitment #HiringPractices

Inclusive recruitment practices are not a nice to have, they are a game-changer for your organisation's brand in today's competitive job market. By embracing diversity and inclusion, you can significantly enhance your employer brand, attracting top talent. But how exactly does this work? Firstly, inclusive recruitment practices demonstrate a commitment to creating a diverse and welcoming workplace. This commitment can resonate deeply with potential candidates, particularly those from underrepresented groups who may have faced barriers in their career journeys. When candidates see that a potential employer values diversity, they are more likely to feel that they will be respected and valued as employees.
