When it comes to hiring practices, inclusion is key. Research published in Harvard Business Review emphasizes the importance of including multiple diverse candidates in the recruitment process. Why? Because when only one diverse candidate is shortlisted, they often stand out, reducing their chances. By adding multiple diverse candidates, organizations can achieve a more inclusive hiring environment, avoiding tokenism and achieving meaningful inclusion.
