Avoiding stress-inducing trade mark mistakes.....
Getting a nasty letter or email telling you that your business is infringing and you must stop is not a nice feeling. In fact, it can be downright stressful.
It might seem OTT for you to think about this, but a worrying number of businesses find themselves in this very situation. And to know that a few steps taken at the start of your brand journey could have saved you heartache and expense is pretty gutting.
I will be giving a talk at the Zokit South Wales Business Expo at Cardiff City Stadium on 14 November, setting out some of the steps you can take to try and avoid these heart stopping, business breaking moments. My talk will be 10.30 to 10.55, and if you want to be sure that you reserve your spot, follow the link in the comments below to secure your spot.

What a wonderful opportunity to be asked by the Wyckoff Chamber Of Commerce to share what I’ve learned as Perspire Wyckoff celebrates 6 months with our doors open and location #2 coming this Fall.
I shared 6 things:
1. Say Yes & keep growing: get comfortable being uncomfortable, be coachable, and seek out mentors. I love the saying, “I can is more important than IQ.”
2. Ask for Google reviews: we have a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google rating and I personally respond to every one. Reviews w/ photos are best, so thanks to everyone for those!
3. Be a value add to OTHER businesses: host meetings in your space, knock on doors, and find out what you can do to support others.
4. Social Media: use it for education, tag your business partners, celebrate your members/patients/clients, ask people to follow you, & post pictures of what your business is up to!
5. Reciprocity: our motto at Perspire Wyckoff is “Err on the side of Generous” and that means with our business partners, with our team, with our members, and with donation requests.
6. Lean into your passions: for us it’s spreading wellness in our community and providing employment opportunities to special needs adults. Weave what you’re passionate about into your business. It makes the wild ride even more meaningful!
Thanks for this shout out, Joseph Chinnici! Thanks for inviting me, Kelly Tanis! Thanks for driving the kids to school so I could do this, Joshua Feliciano! ❤️

This morning, we had a great meeting of the Wyckoff Chamber Of Commerce. Many members made an effort to attend, making great networking opportunities but the highlight was the speaker. Jennifer Jalil Feliciano, Perspire Sauna Studio Area Developer, under short notice gave an amazing presentation. What made it amazing was not that her focus on the benefits of becoming a member of her studio. Instead, she gave tips, lessons learned, and inspirational quotes to the room full of business owners. Jenny's passion for what she does has made me interested in learning more about her franchise and using their services.
If you are a business owner in the Wyckoff area and interested attending a future meeting and/or becoming a member please reach out to me. I serve on the Board for the Wyckoff Chamber Of Commerce and assist on the Membership Committee. I'd love the opportunity to get to know you and help you reach your business goals.
