Last week we had another really busy week but one of the highlights was successfully delivering a Six Sigma Green Belt course for the team at AESC UK! Our sessions were focused on empowering participants with the essential tools and methodologies to drive process improvements, reduce waste, and enhance quality. It was a fantastic experience to witness the team’s enthusiasm and commitment to continuous improvement. A huge thank you to everyone at AESC for their active participation and dedication to learning. We’re confident these new skills will help create impactful changes and drive greater operational excellence across the organisation.

At NC Group Ltd, we’re proud to share the amazing success of our recent Forklift Academies, where we’ve turned unemployment into opportunity for individuals seeking a fresh start in their careers. With a mission to equip people with essential skills and help them gain confidence in the workplace, our academies have seen tremendous results. Our Forklift Academy program begins by enrolling unemployed individuals and guiding them through a comprehensive training pathway that includes: 🔴 Level 1 Health and Safety: Building a strong foundation in safety protocols essential for any workplace, especially in warehouse and industrial settings. 🔴 Level 2 Warehousing and Storage: Offering learners in-depth knowledge of warehousing operations, stock management, and organizational skills required in a fast-paced storage environment. 🔴 Level 2 Business Improvement Techniques: Enabling participants to gain skills in efficiency and productivity improvements, empowering them to contribute to continuous improvement processes within businesses. 🔴 Counterbalance Forklift Novice Course: A three-day intensive practical training where learners gain hands-on experience operating a forklift, with a focus on safety, manoeuvrability, and operational excellence. We have now completed four cohorts of our Forklift Academy, and we are delighted to announce that 12 of our learners have successfully transitioned into employment. These individuals have not only gained valuable qualifications, but they have also secured jobs in various warehousing and logistics roles, including forklift operators, warehouse operatives, and stock controllers. Many of our learners came to the program facing long-term unemployment or with no prior experience in the industry. Through our targeted training and personalised support, they have been able to. The success of these 12 individuals is just the beginning. Our Forklift Academy continues to run, with more learners starting each month. We are committed to bridging the gap between unemployment and opportunity by providing high-quality training that addresses real industry needs. By continuing to empower individuals with the right skills, we are not only changing lives but also supporting businesses in finding the qualified talent they need to thrive. 🏅 This week, we had the privilege of collecting a generous donation from Gestamp, who generously fundraised and donated to support our team in the Great North Run. Their contribution will go towards Quinn’s Retreat, a charity close to our hearts, providing much-needed breaks for those bereaved by suicide or struggling with mental health. A huge thank you to everyone at Gestamp for their kindness and support! 📸 In the photo below, you’ll see our incredible Great North Run team, proudly holding the cheque for £2,000. Their dedication and hard work in completing the run, combined with the generosity of Gestamp, will make a real difference to many.
