According to Gartner , 58% of companies are making changes to GTM. When your GTM is evolving, unfortunately or fortunately, marketing will need to be reconstructed. Here's how… 1. Hyper define ICP per segment. Segmentation is key here. 2. Develop a narrative, positioning, and messaging for each segment. 3. Map the customer journey for each segment. 4. Establish new routes to market for each segment (i.e. PLG, SLG, inbound, outbound, partner) based on revenue efficiency and targets. 5. Implement revenue tracking by segment, channel, tactic, etc. 6. Establish agile GTM activities that align marketing, sales, CS, and ops and enable the use of AI. 7. Measure the efficiency of activities in two weeks sprints. 8. Test, measure, repeat until you've maximized what's working and minimize what's not. Marketing in 2025 will be about segmentation, deeply understanding your ICPs, and embracing agile. Istead of marketing to the masses, I think we will market to smaller groups. Thoughts?
