As part of our system implementation, Will Thompson and I configured Workday to administer IDEX's merit, bonus, and stock plans for a pilot population of 500+ employees. This population included one merit plan with more than 50 compensation scorecard profiles, two bonus plans, and two stock plans. Together, we designed and built the business processes in Workday, tested a variety of scenarios, and issued custom merit statements designed using Workday's Report Designer tool (BIRT). As issues were encountered during the live process, problems were quickly identified and resolved, with a running list of lessons-learned accumulating for the next year. We completed this project without the assistance of external consultants.
