What are the best strategies for overcoming resistance to new CRM practices?
In my experience, starting by asking teams "what is one thing that would improve your day-to-day?" and then orienting training and coaching around specific use cases instead of the CRM as a whole. Breaking training into very specific use cases also means the adoption cycles are shorter as teams can immediately implement their learning for each use case. As others have mentioned providing a mix of content types to suit different learning styles and making the experience interactive definitely improves engagement and adoption. Ultimately, adopting the CRM is not what the team is measured on so meeting them where they are with training helps show how changes will benefit their workflow and outcomes.
