📍 We just finished a full branded package for the company "Dermal Knowledge" in Grayson, GA, which wanted a fresh look for its branding. We partnered with them by creating a brand new website, informative video, and photo Shoot; we created a fun 3D tour and redesigned their logo! 🎥 Amazing Video We shot the video in super clear 4K at 60 frames per second, which means it looks really smooth and detailed when slowed down. We had to work with different lighting conditions, but it was worth it to make sure every part of Dermal Knowledge's space looked perfect. 📸 Awesome Photos Our photoshoot was all about capturing the best parts of their space. We focused on their clean and modern facilities, making sure to show off the professional and welcoming vibe. Every photo was taken to highlight the great atmosphere at Dermal Knowledge. 🔄 Interactive 3D Tour The 3D tour is like a virtual walk-through of their facility. It lets people explore their space online, so potential clients can see everything from the comfort of their own homes. It’s a great way to show what Dermal Knowledge has to offer. 📍 Location Challenge Dermal Knowledge is located off a main road but behind several businesses, which can make it hard for clients to find it. Many clients get turned around trying to find the place, so this rebranding was definitely needed to make it easier for everyone. ✨ Logo Redesign We also facilitated a logo redesign that the team at Dermal Knowledge loved. Chewy's keyword targeting capabilities continue to be one of the biggest challenges of managing the platform.  Brands don’t have the option to target specific keywords and can only bid on the category as a whole, adding bid multipliers to priority keywords. That said, Juan Munoz Dominguez, one of the retail media managers here at Acadia, has been testing a workaround that is showing some real promise: 1️⃣ Create new KW targeting campaign 2️⃣ Drop product bids to the minimum 3️⃣ Add priority KWs 4️⃣ Add high multiplier to said KWs This will allow us to prioritize keywords through the modifier, while limiting the exposure at category level.

Why we should all take a lead from the Geico Gecko If I were starting a brand today the one thing I would seriously consider is creating a brand character If that seems like some throw back to 1980's cereal brands then the data would back you up as incidents of brand characters in award winning IPA entries has tumbled dramatically from around 40% to 15% over that time. They really aren't that fashionable today. But you ignore them at your peril because they are one of the most powerful advertising tools out there Orlando Wood who describes them in his incredible book Look Out as "character fluent devices" has shown that they have a profound impact on business results get a copy you won't regret it!) Take the 2024 Super Bowl for example. Had you used a celebrity like most advertisers then the average Star score (emotional response) was exactly the same as those without one. However had you used a branded character then on average you would have seen a massive 1 Star advantage over non characters & celebrities. Add to the fact that they don't charge the same fees as a celebrity and its the Advertising effectiveness bargain of the century! In the latest episode of Uncensored CMO I caught up with the very clever Michelle Moscone (she/her) who is in charge of brand and creative at Geico about the importance of their famous Gecko which is 30 years old now She puts it in a beautifully simply way that the Gecko enables the audience to have a really fast connection with the brand in a lovable way creating a short cut for your brand and message. It's well worth reading Jenni Romaniuk's brilliant book called Distinctive Brand Assets which covers a lot of research on types of assets and how they work. High Thumbstop Ratio (TSR) is useless if your hold rate is low. (TSR = 3-second video plays / Impressions.) High TSR means the hook works. Viewers are clicking on the video but they aren’t staying. Because the rest of the video is weaker. Ads don’t just have to capture attention but also retain it. How to keep your viewers watching ⬇️ You need to fix these main problems in the video. ❌ Poor narrative ❌ Un-engaging style ❌ Slow-moving content ❌ Low Creator resonance How to permanently fix low-watch time on any ad you run from now: → Mix up the shots (locations, style, angles, etc). → Ensure the video keep the viewer watching, build intrigue. → Pace the video well, fast cuts every 2-3 seconds usually work. → Keep the hook but change the rest of the video, or iterate on the hook. To drive conversions, retaining attention is more important than getting it.
