“Phil Taylor was my supervisor when I was serving as a Fellow at Mad Agriculture as part of my professional capstone project, required by my graduate program. I focused my work on community engagement and strategic planning and ended up designing and facilitating a strategic planning process for the entire organization. Throughout my capstone project/fellowship, Phil supported me in my professional and personal development and helped me develop opportunities to grow my skill set. He has continued to encourage me to hone in my approach and, one day, develop my own practice. He is a visionary and system's change leader, changing the conversation in a way that encourages humanity to get in touch with its roots and each other. I have always been inspired by his courage and way of building bridges between historic divides. I highly recommend Phil as a potential partner, member of a leadership team, and public speaker. ”

Palm oil wastewater methane emissions and bioenergy potential
Nature Climate Change
Palm oil production is driving economic growth, rural development and poverty alleviation in many equatorial economies, yet often with loss of tropical forests1. Here we show that the climate threats do not end following forest clearing: methane emissions from palm oil wastewater effluent represent a significant and rising source of atmospheric warming.
