“I had the privilege to witness Lisa’s career in developer advocacy growing strong during the time we worked together at Elastic. Since the first day meeting her, I could notice how friendly, empathetic, and smart she is. What makes her so great as a developer educator is the fact that this is exactly what you see while watching the content she produces. In my experience, this is a hard thing to do. Very few people manage to look like exactly how they are "in the real world" as they are focused on playing a role and interested in delivering certain results. Lisa is different. She only cares about delivering exactly what people want (arguably, what they need) while showing the same traits she possesses as a human being — friendly, empathetic, and smart. Her future in developer relations is so bright because of this.”
