Does your year-end solicitation need 12 versions? 🤔💭 A couple of years ago, I was working with a client who didn’t understand their donor database. Our initial work together included “cleaning” their CRM, identifying potential prospects, and understanding current donors. Then segmenting them in a variety of ways. By the time they sent their annual appeal they had 14 different versions of their letters. They decided that was too many for the next solicitation. But they did keep 12 for the future. 📝🗓️ Was this organization unique? Most organizations would never need 12 versions of an appeal letter. 💡 Would they?
