Talking about website 🕸️ conversions. This comes up a lot when I'm on sales calls. I get asked well what do I need to do to improve my website to get people to convert? You have a form that says get demo. That's good enough right? 🙅‍♂️ Why not offer them something like a savings calculator or something where they can interact with. They can put in their data, try to figure out is the solution that you're offering me right for me. It's creating something sticky 🍯 on your website. It's keeping them there a little bit longer, and then maybe ask for their email address, and then you can nurture them a little bit. Content coach tip: stop it with the meaningless headlines. You know exactly what I’m talking about. “Elevate your ***** game” “Take your ****** to the next level” “Achieve ****** excellence” Readers don’t give a flying shit about your fluffy platitudes. Give them something meaningful and targeted at their actual pain point. Not empty adjectives that they’re already seeing every other company use.

You’ve got to know your platforms. What mind state are your ppl in when they are here. I remember when “value bombs” were enough to get you seen. To position you as a “leader” in your space. I would just drop posts like… “The 5 reason why X” “3 Top ____ for better ads” You get this gist. In 2021… The game changed. The feeds were over saturated with this. And it just became way too easy to find the SAME info everywhere. I picked up on the shift. It was stories. Stories became the way. The way to catch attention and keep it. The way to move people emotionally. They way to get people to take action. It was and still is the great separator. If you can curate stories with value built in… You’re winning on platforms like FB and LI. In 2024 the online space is louder than ever. Remember that ppl will remember how you made them feel much easier than what they learned from you.
